Hood Deco Cars!
What you’re looking at are a bunch of Maxis cars made into hood deco. Retaining all the details, even in lot view, as you can see in the pics above. (Except for the reflective shine; being not actually on the lot they don’t partake of the light source.) Same poly counts as the originals. Files compressed.
The zips don’t break down exactly like the pics so here’s what’s in them:
The 3t2 download contains a bunch of cars that Misty-Fluff had converted to buy mode. Did not, however, do any of the NPC vans and trucks and probably won’t any time soon because I don’t need them.

The Maxis download contains both the base game and NL cars. The set’s not complete because I drifted toward the higher end models as that’s what I needed. To that end both the super sports cars (Hunka 711) and limos now use a dark tinted window, fyi. And I didn’t do any of the flame/rip/scallop paint jobs that I thought were particularly ugly. Not done yet are the Smooga hatchback, the minivan, and the pickup but I’m sure I’ll get to them. Eventually. I’ll probably do the bonus Fords first. In the back row is the other bonus, the Burnout Paradise Montgomery Hawker.
The rusty entry-level carpool is a smooga recolour so still to do but included are the other standard carpool cars. The towncar size was fine but the other two seemed quite small compared to those NL later introduced. There is only a scaled up version of the blue grungy one but the red sports car is included at its original size.
