Blue Miracle

When I heard from the doctor today that my child's heart was beating, I was moved. But pregnancy is not, as some women say, only a beautiful, sweet time. I have dizziness, I feel tired and sick all the time, my lower abdomen hurts, I have trouble sleeping.

Pregnancy is some kind of sacrifice and I cannot imagine forcing someone to go through this.

That's why, as a religious person, I despise Trump as well as the right wing in my mother country. Nothing is black or white. I'm a hero for my husband for sure, but not for all of the world, and that is okay. We will be parents because that's what we deeply desired.
