but      that      moment      is      interrupted      by      steps      behind      him      ─      cloud      turning      only      to      see      a      familiar      red      -      head      .      genesis      .      that      same      book      with      him      .      what      was      it      called      ?      ah      ,      that’s      right      .      loveless      .      to      his      surprise      he      raised      one      black      -      gloved      hand      to      give      a      small      wave      .      cloud      opened      his      mouth      to      speak      ,      but      his      words      are      pushed      back      from      genesis’s      nimble      movements      .     “      wh      ───     ”

an      arm      wrapped      around      cloud’s      thin      waist      ,      his      arms      subconsciously      lifting      up      as      he      did      so      .      cloud’s      hair      moved      such      as      soft      grass      in      the      wind      ,      back      and      forth      ,      revealing      and      hiding      the      blue      of      his      eyes      .      one      hand      rests      on      genesis’s      chest      ──      trying      to      find      it      in      him      to      push      the      first      class      SOLDIER      away      ,      yet      he      was      frozen      .      his      breath      stuttered      ─      chest      rising      and      falling      ,      𝙩𝙝𝙚      𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙩      𝙤𝙛      𝙝𝙞𝙨      𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩      𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜      𝙪𝙥      .      yet      it      felt      as      though      the      air      was      being      stolen      from      his      lungs      .      genesis      leans      in      ─      closer      than      before      ─      firmly      pressing      his      lips     ‘gainst      cloud’s      .      his      kiss      is      different      from      the      other’s      he’s      felt      before      .      it      was      steeped      in      a      passion      that      ignites      .    there’s    that    primal    desire    that    lives    in      us      all    .    yet    when    genesis    pulls    away    ,    cloud    is    longing    for    more    ─    why    ?    what    was    he    trying    to    prove    ?    color      blooms    over    his    cheeks    ,    mouth    agape    as    he    watched    genesis    walk    away    .
