So y'know how there's like two whole endings where basically the apocalypse happens? I took one of those(the one where they escape with Phillip) but then I AU-ified it, turned Phillip into an eldritch being, and made Howard actually try and do something with the letter Knowhere sends him. Also Angelique is here but she comes in later since they start out separated but I'm gonna make a comic of how they meet back up

Howard is. surviving. He stole a pool cue from Lucky's Bar and has been using it as a weapon, but he also got his hands on a shard of the Rock and has been using that as his line of communication to Phillip. He's been trying to find Phillip but the messages are scattered at best and he has no idea what he's doing. He's also been pretty badly wounded but it's okay we ball

Phillip has been transformed into the Lesser Old One after the Great Old One was set loose, and now he's stuck somewhere between reality and nonsense. He has a piece/another version of the Rock embedded in his chest, which he's been able to use as his only line of communication to the real world, speaking to Howard and whoever else has the Rock.

I actually did also get a collection of Lovecraft stories, specifically the Cthulhu mythos, as well as some other books but those two are the ones I actually went out to get because I wanted to do my homework about The Island of Doctor Morose (/silly
