God, detention sucks. They’re talking about riddles of all things in Detention and the teacher? Well, it’s Kawakami this time, but she seems more interested in the novel she had brought with her, brown optics narrowing when she catches the dark-haired teenager’s gaze on her. She doesn’t say anything though, mouth set into a firm line for a moment before her own gaze moves back towards to the page she was on.

It took an awkward while, as he took a specific select few cards out of a packed stack while it was still covered by the bag, not to ruin the whole concept accidentally should he pick them right in front of Hikaru. When done, Clive placed the four cards in a neat row on the table, the order as follows; a faced down red card, a faced down blue card, a six of spades, and a three of spades.
