I forgot to post this from earlier this year. Definitely my favorite commission I did at FWA!

The last two are of Mikael and his werewolf buddies. He works with the smaller wolf at their restaurant, while the larger one works as a city guard in the special werewolf K9 unit.

First image was me trying different hairstyles for Mikael before I settled with the style in the two other images. Last image has Mikael cuddling his lil adoptive skeleton critters.

The bottom two are Gaster Blaster studies from August. I was trying to draw them closer to the game sprites instead of how I usually draw them as just realistic-ish skulls. These are silly cute!

Starting with a clean-up sketch I did on the computer, I printed it out to ink it on the final paper. I inked with brushpens and microns, using a lightboard to see the sketch underneath. It’s a good technique if you want to keep your composition correct on the final paper.

A mix of lunch and random sketches from the past month or so

I’m mentally filing this as a work-in-progress still. I may return to this later and add some things I wasn’t able to add, but here it is for now. For my first animatic in years, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!
