Clearwell Town Roleplay Group

Due to unforeseen circumstances Clearwell must close its doors. 

Perhaps in the future we may re-open, but until then thank you to everyone who was part of this amazing little community.

Below the cut is a list of everyone who has passed and failed the activity check.

New arrivals have an automatic pass for their first activity check. If they didn’t make the post requirement an asterisk is placed at the end of their name.

If your character has been dropped you may submit your character application again.

There's a rumor that the BOSS of the ORDON RANCH is coming to town by FEBRUARY 7.

No. The roleplay calendar doesn’t correspond to any real life dates. The only connection between the two is how long you’re allowed to roleplay a certain season. 

Due to the way events work in Clearwell you’re able to roleplay any event as long as that season is active. So, if your character’s birthday is the 22nd of Spring you can celebrate their birthday any time while Spring is active (January through March). 

I hope this clears things up. 

Calendar Changes

Previously, Clearwell’s calendar was set up that each month of the year would be a different season in the roleplay group. However, due to a combination of various factors it’s been made apparent that this is too fast paced for the kind of roleplay we want to run. 

As such each roleplay season will now last three real life months. For example, from January 1st to March 31st it will be Spring in Clearwell Town. Then, from April 1st to June 30th it will be Summer in Clearwell and so on and so forth.  

This will make it so that one year in Clearwell is also one year in real life. We believe this will help change the pacing issue of the group to make it more of the relaxed environment as we envisioned it.

Yes, this group is LGBT+ friendly! You’re more than welcome to make a trans character. We already have one in the group as well!

SYBIL BRYSON is coming to town! They should arrive by FEBRUARY 1.

Not at all! 

The reason that we have a business page is because Clearwell is a small town and there would only be so many stores in said town. It’s so that people can see which places have employees/owners and which don’t. By no means is it necessary for them to have a job listed on the page. 

That being said you’re also welcome to have a character self-employed! For jobs that don’t require a storefront your character can simply work out of their own home.

I would recommend always talking to a member about starting a thread. 

This is because threads are a commitment. They take effort and a person might be at their capacity of how many threads they can handle (due to time constrains, stress levels, how busy they are IRL, etc.). If someone makes a starter and tags them it adds to this work load and can become stressful to the member. 

While I’m sure our community would never turn down a thread without good reason, it’s still good behavior to have consent before making a thread with a specific character. 

Now, plotting a thread is a whole other matter and completely up to the two (or more) members involved in the thread. If you have any questions about that specifically feel free to send another message.
