Nuts !

Ok!

-Claude and Penelope are both introverts, so naturally they do introverted things together! One of their favorite activities is just lying on the rugs of Claude's house and staring up at the ceiling, completely relaxing and thinking about nothing.

-Claude and Penelope prefer watching cozy if cheesy romantic movies together. It's a bit of a guilty pleasure for them and they love making comments on how their love story is similar to the one playing out on screen.

I have a soft spot for Nibbles/Tuffy because of the paternal side he brings out in Jerry. So let's learn more about him here!

-He’ll respond to BOTH Nibbles and Tuffy. Despite the confusion from fans on what his true name is, he truly doesn’t mind being called both. He’ll address himself formally as “Nibbles-Tuffy Mouse.” (Author’s Note: For the sake of not having to repeat myself so much, I’ll just call him Tuffy). 

-As you know, Tuffy was originally a LOT more helpless in his classic appearances…behind the scenes, he had to basically fight to get a more active role in modern Tom and Jerry productions, especially in the DTV films. 

-A MAJOR fault of Tuffy is that Tuffy is very thoughtless. He just does things without thinking and shrugs them off like he doesn’t care. It won’t affect him that much, right? 

-Another flaw of Tuffy is that he’s easily distracted. He frequently forgets the important things to focus on and often shifts to tasks he considers “less hard”, such as having fun or pranking with Quacker and Tyke. 

-A bad habit that Tuffy has is that he often mixes up what he’s saying with his inner thoughts. So sometimes, he can come off as accidentally blunt when he REALLY meant to keep his mouth shut. 

-Tuffy’s eyesight is not that great. That’s why he wears glasses in some of the Tom and Jerry DTV films. He’s since switched to specialized Toon eye droplets that help improve vision. 

-Tuffy dislikes stairs. Due to his short size and height, they’re just in general a pain for him to have to climb. He prefers using elevators, escalators, or other ways to get up and around. Anything but stairs. 

-Tuffy has taken on several varying odd jobs in Toontown when not filming. He genuinely likes the experience of working in different fields and thinks it helps with his film career. 

-Tuffy likes wearing tunics and robes if he HAS to wear clothes. As a matter of fact, he likes flowy clothes in general, as they’re nice, breezy, and allow him to move more. 

-Tuffy is a VERY good speller! He can literally spell any word without trouble, even words like “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

-Tuffy REALLY likes human food! He knows that most Toons don’t eat human food and make fun of/mock those that do but he could care less about Toon social customs. Human food is good! He especially has a fondness for milk and chocolate chip cookies. His favorite type of milk is almond milk. He doesn’t like oat milk however, thinking it has a weird aftertaste. 

-Tuffy can switch how his voice sounds on a whim. He happens to be VERY good at impressions due to this and loves doing impressions in general to make his friends or Jerry laugh. 

-Tuffy also really loves ventriloquism! He has a collection of several different characters for each of the voices he comes up with. 

-Tuffy gets greatly embarrassed when he has to wear a diaper in productions. This is because he feels it over emphasizes the “childish” aspect of him and that he generally doesn’t need it. 

-Tuffy was VERY nervous when meeting Jerry for the first time after he was created. He thought Jerry would hate him or find him annoying to be around. Thankfully, Jerry took to him very quickly. After all, Jerry kind of liked having a "created" family member just for him.

My Dinner with Bugs!

-Claude isn’t actually as paranoid as the cartoons portray…don’t get me wrong, he still IS neurotic, anxious and easily startled but a lot of it is exaggerated for the camera.

-The reason Claude's design changed so much during the classic era was because Claude was rather insecure in how he looked and thought if he added more and changed around a few things, he would be "more unique."

-Over the years, it turns out Claude has a taste for designs not considered "pretty" or "attractive." Where people see "ugliness" and "bad design", he sees 'stunning vision."

-Claude DESPISES horror movies. He can only last one minute before he’s frantically hiding underneath something.

-Claude likes rugs. Rugs cover every part of his house. Sometimes, he even lays on the rugs to calm himself down!

-While he's not instinctual like Sylvester is, he has a bad habit of scratching himself (and other objects) to calm himself down when he's nervous. So he has personal scratching pads to take with him everywhere he goes.

-Claude's claws are the sharpest of the Warner Bros Cats. Trust me when I say you do NOT want to get scratched by Claude.

-Claude is BIG into bird watching! He’s very fond of birds in general and can easily identify any bird by sight alone.

-Aside from birdwatching, Claude also really fishing! Out of all the cats in Warner Bros, Claude is the one that likes fish the most (it happens to be his favorite food! He's especially found of poached salmon). Plus, fishing is a good way to get him to relax after a long day. Somehow, he ALWAYS manages to catch at least one fish.

-Claude's favorite drink happens to be orange juice. Apple juice is a close second (the only point he has against it is that it's too sugary for his taste).

-He’e neutral with Hubie and Bertie. They can work together on set and have conversations but they generally don’t spend much time together outside of that.

-Claude gets along alright with the other cats of Warner Bros, but isn't very close to them because of their more....prominent status within the company. He does, however, happen to be intimidated and put off by Sylvester due to Sly's loudness and boisterousness (not to mention how Sly could EASILY beat him to the ground in combat).

-Claude DOES, however, get along supremely well with lesser known characters of the Looney Tunes. He's especially close to, of all characters, Pete Puma and Charlie Dog. Charlie is someone he's especially close to...perhaps even considering Charlie more than a friend. Unfortunately, Charlie is dense enough to where he does NOT notice Claude's feelings for him.
