So apparently I knew nothing about Mr. ArsĆØne Lupin, most presently of which that he was a reoccurring character? That he has gentlemen thieved his way through like, what, a dozen books?? I just read (what I believe is) the novelized play ArsĆØne Lupin in a mad dash, and when I saw āHerlock Sholmesā as one of Lupinās investigators I went oh, haha, thatās funny! How pithy
So you can imagine me stunned when discovering I had not only started pretty much in the middle of his adventures, actually, (which I guess does also explain away all the loose end questions I had with the novel) but that Herlock Sholmes was literally just Sherlock Holmes and is genuinely someone he deals with - going off the book list - quite often it seems.
Iāve been living under the stones I need to be stoned with.
