Peter took the help, using him as support to get back on his feet. “Thanks. You’re kinder than some people here.”

"I actually live in Metropolis. Sunshine state"

“That explains it. I’m not from Gotham either. I’m from New York. But my dad was here for a business meeting and decided to bring me along. I bailed though. Meetings are boring.”

"They can be quite boring but you'd likely be safer to stay with your father than out here"

“Eh. I’ll be fine. My legs may not want to work sometimes but I can still defend myself.”

"I'm sure you can.. I just worry about anyone in Gotham especially a kid such as yourself."

“So, what are you doing in Gotham if you’re from Metropolis?”

"oh well I was visiting a friend. Im a reporter and I found a work excuse to see him" he laughed at himself a bit

“Huh. Cool. Are there any good coffee places in this city? Do you know?”

"Yes there's actually a place around the corner they're pretty good" he said pointing in the direction of the coffee place

he lets her as he listens "you are a really good distraction.." he says before trying to focus on what she wanted "i can move the desks and go buy yhe stuff?"

"i know" she reluctantly lets go of him "I'm going to order some stuff for the nursery, like a crib and chair"

"while i move our desks do you want tomake a list of stuff i need to get?"

he had finished and read over the list. "I'll get what i can" he smiled then kissed her head

he kisses her back picking her up so they'd be the same height "i love you too" then he puts her back dow n and heads out to grab the items needed

She looked at the room and thought about what she wanted to do with what as she waited for him to come back

he came back a couple hours later with everything off the list and more, he'd gotten a little carried away

She chuckled "what else did you get?" She walks over obviously curious

"I just got a few options just incase" he had gotten about two or three of each item she had asked for

"these are returnable right? Cuz what are we going to do with all of that? And also the cost"

". . .Bruce helped?" he smiled "I will return what we dont decide on, promise"

She pulls him down and kisses him "I'll have to thank Bruce. speaking of him, how's that going?"

"good i think we went on a date the other day and it was nice, i told him i was big blue"

he nodded at the paint comment "he had already had a hunch" he laughed "he was cute when he got excited about being right"

"we went to the superhero museum in gotham there was a temporary exhibit for Superman and I learned more about Batman and Robin it was very interesting" he said as he helped her out grabbing the plastic and laying it on the ground, she didnt need to explain why she wouldnt be the one doing it he automatically understood

"Yeah theyre good people. Robin's a good kid. I was a little sidetracked to learn too much at the museum, most of it was things already known to the public though"
