✦𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞 𝐱 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐏!𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 | 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬✦
𝑨/𝑵: Hello everyone!! And hello again, INFP anon, thank you for the request!! :-D I'm glad you liked the one-shot I wrote for Illumi, and because of that, I got a lot of messages, including in my DMs, asking for a continuation and BAM!! I'm making a continuation!! About an INFP Reader in the Troupe… I made a post about it yesterday. I confess I let out a nervous little laugh when I think about it, lol. As an INTJ myself, I wouldn't have the courage to step in, whereas you guys are so brave, I must congratulate you, lol. So here are the headcanons I made for each member of the Troupe regarding their impression of her. I apologize if what I wrote wasn't to your taste, but it's just that… it's the Troupe… they have such a cold way of dealing even with each other, even while considering themselves a family. Without further ado: Happy reading everyone!! :-)

I excluded Hisoka, Kalluto, and Illumi because I preferred to focus more on the original members and those with more time in the Troupe.
🕷️🕸️𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐟𝐞𝐫: the melancholic philosopher
Impression: For the leader of the Phantom Troupe, a reader with the INFP essence — a person who is introspective, guided by deep internal values, possesses an empathy as vast as a mother's heart, and maintains a quietness almost indifferent to external chaos — awakens no sort of mawkish affection or romantic protection. Chrollo views her as a curious anomaly: someone who inhabits her own mental world so isolatedly that she seems invisible even to the Spider's web. He does not see her as an immediate threat, but neither as an ally. To him, she is an opaque mirror; someone whose mind operates on abstract frequencies, detached from the practical brutality of the underworld and Nen. He completely understands the depth with which she processes the surrounding world, but precisely because he perceives this internal lens so turned inward, he knows her moral values and abstract ideals will never fit into the cold, nihilistic logic of Meteor City. For a leader who absorbs the collective and builds millimeter-precise plans based on the web's purpose, the INFP's silent refusal to bow to external chaos is nothing more than a sterile abyss.
Dynamics: Even though both share a self-reflective and even philosophical nature regarding human nature (INFJ X INFP), i do not see a dynamic between them guided by long conversations or verbal agreements; I would say it is driven by the prolonged silence of those who share the same physical space without interacting directly. Chrollo keeps her close purely out of logistical convenience or calculated indifference, while she observes the world around her through a strictly personal and distant optic. When they cross paths, the exchange of glances is cold and utilitarian; he wastes no energy explaining his orders to her just as he wastes no time justifying his actions to the walls of an abandoned hideout. She acts as a static element amidst the Spiders' instability, someone whose deep thoughts never overflow into actions that affect the Troupe's planning.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Chrollo imposes an atmosphere of absolute isolation, where the reader's presence is tolerated only as long as she does not interfere with targets or skill thefts. He watches her flipping through books or losing herself in sterile reflections while the sound of footsteps and the smell of blood mark the routine of the other Ryodan members. If an imminent attack occurs or the hideout needs to be abandoned in a hurry, Chrollo does not hesitate to give a dry order for her to accompany him, demanding blind obedience and mechanical efficiency. To him, the internal sensitivity and moral hesitation typical of an INFP are irrelevant weaknesses that must be kept strictly outside the Spiders' field of operation.

🖤☠️ 𝐅𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐫: the merciless shadow
Impression: For the most relentless and sadistic member of the Phantom Troupe, an INFP reader is synonymous with pure, irritating weakness. Feitan does not see her as a philosophical anomaly like Chrollo does; to him, she is a useless insect wandering through a lethal territory (cruel, I know, sorry... but it's Feitan :-/). Her quietness and the INFP's tendency to get lost in daydreams are translated by him merely as a lack of survival instinct. He sees her as completely fragile, someone whose moral values and refusal to hurt others seem like a pathetic joke in a world where pain and death are the only real currencies in Meteor City.
Dynamics: The relationship between the two is marked by latent hostility and constant tension, based almost entirely on his impatience and her silent intimidation. Feitan has zero patience for the INFP's slow mental pace or sentimental hesitations. When they need to interact, his communication is harsh, direct, and loaded with veiled (or explicit) threats, while she tries to stay as invisible as possible so as not to attract his fury. He likes to test her emotional limits, making cutting comments or torturing enemies right in front of her eyes just to watch the reaction of repulsion and contained terror that crosses the reader's face.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Feitan is a constant exercise in walking on broken glass. The Troupe's hideout under his watch is a suffocating environment, where any out-of-place sound or hesitation can trigger the worst side of the Ryodan's interrogator. While the reader tries to take refuge in her thoughts or in some silent reading to escape the oppressive atmosphere, Feitan frequently interrupts her with dry orders, demanding practical tasks or simply mocking her slowness in keeping up with the Spiders' brutal pace. To him, if the reader cries or shows any sign of emotional pain in the face of the violence around her, it only proves how much she doesn't belong there; and if she messes up an operation due to moral hesitation, he won't hesitate a second to leave her behind — or worse, punish her personally to teach her the price of weakness.

💢👊𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐜𝐮𝐛: the loud protector
Impression: For the most explosive and short-tempered member of the Phantom Troupe, an INFP reader is a walking synonym for annoyance and boredom. Phinks has zero patience for introspection, abstract mental worlds, or the excessive delicateness of someone who spends all day pondering feelings. He views her as a noisy "dead weight" inside her own head, someone whose moral dilemmas and slowness in taking practical action make him want to roll his eyes or shake her just to wake her up to reality. To him, the INFP is overly fragile for the underworld, always seeming a second away from collapsing at any strong wind or harsh look.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is based on constant friction, heavy irony, and an absolute lack of a filter on his part. Phinks minces no words and loves to provoke her just to test the limits of her patience, tossing out sarcastic comments about her spending the whole day distracted or lost in useless thoughts. While the reader tries to dodge direct confrontations and seeks refuge in her own silence, Phinks acts with blatant rudeness, pushing her into action by force and demanding quick answers. He has zero empathy for her hesitations and makes it clear that, if it's up to him, she's going to learn to be tough the hard way.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Phinks means dealing with constant noise and a chaotic energy that tramples the quietness the INFP cherishes so much. He tends to take up all the space, whether cracking his knuckles menacingly after a fight or complaining loudly about any minor operational sluggishness. If the reader is too immersed in her daydreams and takes too long to execute a simple order or gets startled by his brutality, Phinks will laugh in her face and call her useless without the slightest bit of remorse. However, even though he treats her with brutality and zero patience, if someone from outside the Troupe tries to threaten her or disrespect the Spiders' space, Phinks is the first to step forward growling — not out of affection for the reader, but because harming or disrespecting anything within the Ryodan is a direct affront that he responds to by snapping necks.

📱⚡ 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐤: the smiling mastermind
Impression: For the friendliest-looking, most sociable, and seemingly harmless member (or so you think, lol) of the Phantom Troupe, an INFP reader is treated with an almost scientific curiosity, mixed with amused condescension. Shalnark does not look at her with Chrollo's cutting coldness or Feitan and Phinks's gratuitous violence; instead, he views her as a walking little experiment. He finds it fascinating — and slightly comical — that someone can live so detached from the world's brutal reality amidst greedy mobsters, traffickers, and corrupt politicians, immersed in imaginary worlds and sterile moral values. To him, the INFP is like a toy that came with a factory defect: pretty in the theory of introspection, but completely dysfunctional when subjected to the real chaos of the underworld.
Dynamics: The relationship between the two is marked by false lightness and subtle manipulation. Shalnark uses his charismatic friendliness and constant smile to approach the reader, acting as the Troupe's "helpful friend," which usually disarms the INFP's guard. However, behind the jokes and playful tone, he does not hesitate to use her when convenient, whether for logistical tests, extracting secondary information, or sending her to do boring chores while he occupies himself with his own games. He likes to provoke her subtly, poking at her insecurities with a smile on his face, just to see how her abstract and sensitive mind reacts to psychological pressure disguised as kindness.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Shalnark is a mix of digital chaos and apparent calm that hides invisible dangers. He spends hours hooped up over computers, analyzing data, hacking systems, or playing video games, and often drags the reader into the same space just to test her patience, asking her to do monotonous tasks while he chatters about technology or assassination contracts. If the reader gets too lost in her thoughts or tries to dodge his demands with idealistic arguments, Shalnark simply lets out a light laugh, but his eyes darken with the veiled warning that she is testing a Spider's tolerance. And if things get truly serious, the true face of the licensed ex-Hunter appears: he wouldn't think twice before sticking one of his control antennas into an enemy — or even using her strategically as a pawn if the Troupe's survival were at stake.

⚔️👘Nobunaga Hazama: the loyal samurai
Impression: For the Phantom Troupe's samurai, attached to strict codes of honor and blind loyalty to the group, an INFP reader is an incomprehensible and out-of-place figure. To him, the reader is simply someone fragile, scattered, and disconnected from the relentless reality the Spiders face every day. He views her as dead weight who doesn't know how to draw a sword or read an enemy's lethal intentions, finding it irritating that she lives with her head in the clouds in an environment where a single second of inattention costs a life.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is marked by raw impatience, growls, and rough scoldings. Nobunaga has zero patience for the INFP's slow mental pace or idealistic daydreams. When their paths cross, his communication is direct, loud, and full of harsh remarks, demanding that she pay attention to the real world. If she is too distracted by her thoughts, he doesn't hesitate to give her a rough pull or yell at her for lacking focus. Despite his habitual rudeness, he acts guided by an iron code: if she is under the Ryodan's roof, he expects her to maintain the bare minimum of posture and decency that the Troupe's name demands, without staining the group's reputation with pathetic weaknesses.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Nobunaga carries the tense atmosphere of a dojo where danger is always right on the surface. He spends his time sharpening his blade, playing shogi, or testing Nen in the air, while the reader tries to keep her distance so as not to draw his irritation. If she clutters his space with her sluggishness or shows hesitation in the face of a conflict, Nobunaga will explode into complaints about the uselessness of "fainthearted" people. However, even though he treats her with contempt and constant impatience, if an outsider threatens the hideout or disrespects any member of the Spiders, including the INFP Reader herself, the blade of his katana leaves its sheath instantly; just like Phinks, he also makes a point of not thinking twice about protecting her (remembering that this does not mean affection, but because she is part of the Spider, as if she were also a part of him).

🔫🤫𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐝𝐚: the keeper of secrets
Impression: For the loyal and enigmatic strong woman of the Phantom Troupe, an INFP reader is a presence that awakens a silent and almost maternal curiosity, though filtered through a criminal's cold ruthlessness. Pakunoda does not view her with aggressive contempt or loud irritation; to her, the INFP's mind is an open book and, at the same time, chaotic. Upon touching the reader with her memory-reading ability (Psychometry), Pakunoda encounters a labyrinth of abstract feelings, deep moral dilemmas, imaginary scenarios, and boundless empathy that seem completely absurd to someone living on the basis of Meteor City's violence. She views her as a fragile and overly sensitive soul, totally lost in a world that has no room for so much hesitation.
Dynamics: The relationship between the two is marked by a heavy silence and meticulous observation, along with advice from Pakunoda herself. Pakunoda doesn't usually yell or lose her patience; she commands respect through her piercing gaze and imposing posture. When she needs to deal with the INFP, her approach is direct, serious, and calculated. If the reader gets too lost in her daydreams or shows weakness in the face of a tense situation, Pakunoda might issue a firm warning or remind her of where she is, but always in a contained tone. Although Pakunoda knows how to handle an INFP reader like a mother figure who always pulls the ear of her daughter who hasn't yet experienced a reality check, she has no patience for excessive emotional drama, yet she completely understands the reader's internal workings — making her the only one in the Troupe who truly grasps the weight of the INFP's thoughts, even if she chooses not to show excessive compassion.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Pakunoda means being constantly exposed to a feeling that all your deepest secrets and fears are being watched. Since Pakunoda easily absorbs memories and thoughts through touch, the reader quickly learns to maintain a certain physical distance to preserve her inner little world. However, if there is a need for cooperation or if the reader needs practical guidance in the middle of a mission, Pakunoda acts with a protective rigidity, demanding efficiency and silence. And if the Troupe's safety — or the reader's own safety — is at risk due to external interference, Pakunoda will draw her weapon and use her tactical intelligence with the unwavering loyalty typical of the Spiders, defending the territory without a moment's hesitation.

🧵✨𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐊𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞: the invisible thread
Impression: For the cold, pragmatic, and intuitive weaver of the Phantom Troupe, an INFP reader is synonymous with an annoying and useless distraction. Machi has no patience for mental sluggishness, idealistic daydreams, or the excess of feelings the reader carries. While her intuition (Nen) is highly accurate in tracking dangers and anticipating real threats in the underworld, she views the INFP as someone blind to the practical world, living in a loop of sterile reflections that are completely useless when blood starts to flow. To Machi, the INFP's sensitivity is an uncomfortable weakness, someone who always seems on the verge of breaking under Meteor City's relentless pressure.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is marked by dry rudeness, cutting silences, and visceral impatience on Machi's part. She wastes no words explaining why she finds the reader inept; her communication is direct, harsh, and laden with practical contempt. If the INFP is lost in her thoughts or hesitates to fulfill a task due to moral dilemmas, Machi cuts her off immediately with an acidic remark, making it clear she has no time to waste on emotional whims. She prefers to keep the reader as far away as possible from her Nen threads, seeing her merely as an old rag doll that tears at the slightest thing, whom she would have to drag around or sew back together if anything went wrong.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Machi is cold, silent, and laden with cutting tension. Machi spends her time maintaining absolute focus on missions, checking information, or using her needle and Nen thread, while the reader tries to stay as invisible as possible so as not to attract her irritation. If the reader clutters her workspace or shows any sign of dramatic weakness, Machi will treat her with absolute coldness, without a single drop of empathy, maternal patience, and certainly not as her friend.

💧👓𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐳𝐮𝐤𝐮 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐢: the blank slate
Impression: For the Phantom Troupe member with a docile appearance, vacant gaze, and curiously selective mind, an INFP reader is a figure who awakens sincere confusion, but without any malice. To our beloved "airhead," the reader is simply someone whose brain works in a weird way (as if yours doesn't too, right Shizuku?). While Shizuku easily forgets things (like faces or important details) and blindly trusts the logical rules of her vacuum cleaner, Blinky, and the Spider itself, she finds it fascinating — and kind of pointless — that the INFP clings so much to abstract feelings and imaginary dilemmas that are completely useless in everyday life.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is marked by disconcerting sincerity and totally random conversations. Shizuku has no filter and drops dry comments or awkward questions without the slightest intention to offend, simply because she says what's on her mind at the moment. If the INFP is lost in her philosophical daydreams, Shizuku might stare at her, blinking confusedly, and drop something like "why do you spend so much time thinking about things that don't solve anything?". However, as much as Shizuku doesn't understand the reader's emotional world, she doesn't treat her with gratuitous hostility; if they need to be in the same room, coexistence flows in a curious silence, broken only by Shizuku's frank and literal remarks.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Shizuku means sharing a space where her logic is the only one that matters. Shizuku spends a good part of her time cleaning things, reading books, or taking care of her tasks in the Troupe, while the reader tries to take refuge in her own mind. If the INFP is lamenting over some moral dilemma or suffering from excessive empathy in the face of the underworld's brutality, Shizuku will listen to her with an expression of total incomprehension, tilting her head and concluding practically that "if something bothers you that much, just don't look." (Stonks!!)

🖤🌀𝐊𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢: the flawless copy
Impression: For the most silent, mysterious, and reserved member of the Phantom Troupe, an INFP reader is practically a distant silhouette in a world of noise. Kortopi, who spends a large part of his time secluded, creating perfect copies with his Nen (Gallery Fake), views the reader with an almost ethereal indifference. Basically, the impression I have of him is: He couldn't care less and is quite neutral about it. He doesn't waste mental energy evaluating her sensitivity or judging her idealistic daydreams; to him, the INFP is just another static presence in the environment, as harmless and distant as any inanimate object around him.
Dynamics: The relationship between the two is defined by absolute silence and the almost total absence of words. Kortopi almost never speaks, and when he needs to communicate, he restricts himself to minimal gestures or monosyllabic answers. If the INFP is nearby, lost in her thoughts or reading in a corner, he simply ignores her, focusing entirely on his creations or his tasks for the group. He has not the slightest interest in provoking her, but he also offers no kind of emotional comfort; to him, the reader is just part of the hideout's furniture, someone whose existence doesn't alter his focus at all.
Coexistence: Sharing the same space with Kortopi is like inhabiting a vacuum of human interactions. He spends hours isolated, duplicating items or analyzing what the Troupe needs, while the reader seeks refuge in her own mind to escape the suffocating atmosphere of the Spiders. If the INFP tries to strike up a conversation or get too close, Kortopi will only stare at her with his expressionless gaze (with his hair covering his eyes), emitting a muffled sound or turning his back without intentional rudeness, but making it clear that he prefers solitude.

⚙️💪𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐮: the gentle powerhouse
Impression: Believe it or not, I don't see Franklin acting with indifference or contempt toward the INFP reader. For the gentle giant — or rather, the largest-framed and most frightening-looking, yet surprisingly calm and level-headed member of the Phantom Troupe —, an INFP reader is viewed with an almost paternal patience and an unshakable serenity. To him, the INFP is like someone who parachuted straight into hell: a fragile, scattered soul terrified of the underworld, living with her head in a totally abstract world because reality simply hurts too much to face. He doesn't view her with hatred, but with a sort of amused and understanding resignation in the face of so much disproportionate sensitivity. He finds it funny because it even reminds him a bit of Shizuku when she has her moments of forgetfulness.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is marked by an unusual calmness for Ryodan standards and a "peaceful big uncle" dynamic. Franklin is the member who usually calms tempers when internal fights break out, and with the reader, it's no different; he doesn't lose his patience easily. If the INFP is lost in her daydreams, paralyzed by some moral dilemma, or suffering from anxiety in a corner, Franklin won't yell or threaten her. He usually gives advice with his deep, serene voice, acting with a quiet firmness that puts things into perspective. If it's just the two of you in the hideout, he'll pat the space next to him to invite you to sit down and chat with a genuine smile about anything you want and whatever is on your mind. He knows she doesn't have the stomach for the daily bloodbath, so he treats her with a mix of indulgence and realistic warnings, pulling her back down to earth without needing to be aggressive.
Coexistence: Sharing the same space with Franklin brings a strange sense of safety amidst the Troupe's chaos. While he spends his time meditating, adjusting his thick chains, or taking care of preparations for missions, the reader can breathe a little better without the constant fear of being shattered by a wrong look. If the INFP shows weakness or sheds tears because of some melancholic thought, Franklin won't know how to handle the emotional drama very deeply, but he will offer a safe and silent space for her to pull herself together. And if danger knocks at the door and someone outside threatens her, the calm giant unleashes his devastating Nen (Double Machine Gun), annihilating the threat with the Spiders' unwavering loyalty — protecting her under the same roof with the overwhelming strength of someone who doesn't need to raise their voice to command respect.

💥🦁𝐔𝐯𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐧: the roaring beast
Impression: For the Phantom Troupe's brute, loud, and adrenaline-driven powerhouse, an INFP reader is a complete enigma that defies Uvogin's logic. He doesn't waste intellectual energy trying to understand her sensitivity or the abstract moral dilemmas she carries; to him, the reader is simply someone fragile, delicate, and completely unsuited for the real world of fights. Sometimes he wonders: "Why on earth did Chrollo choose her to join the Spider?" Uvogin views her with a mix of amused confusion and mild, impatient disdain, finding it incomprehensible how anyone can live with their head full of fuss and daydreams when the only thing that truly matters in life is testing one's own strength, drinking, and fighting to the limit.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is marked by shouts, booming laughter, and a rudeness entirely devoid of malice on Uvogin's part. He has no filter, talks loudly all the time, and treats the reader as if she were a glass doll that could shatter at the slightest breath. If the INFP shrinks away from a display of violence or starts whining over some melancholic thought, Uvogin will let out a scandalous laugh, give her a hard pat on the back (almost knocking the poor girl's wind out), and tell her to "stop being soft" while offering her a can of beer. To him, the solution to any sadness or existential crisis is the same: eating massive amounts of red meat, drinking until you forget, and getting into a brawl to blow off steam.
Coexistence: Sharing the same roof with Uvogin means living under constant noise and a chaotic energy that never lets up. He spends his day testing his muscles, eating voraciously, or looking for any excuse to start a fight, while the INFP tries to hide in a silent corner to protect her sanity. If she tries to explain her feelings or complain about the brutality around her, Uvogin will just shake his head, laugh in her face for finding everything so dramatic, and say what she really needs is a good physical workout.

🥊🎼𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯 𝐍𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐡: the dancing shaman
Impression: For the Phantom Troupe's most enigmatic, eccentric, and spare-time-dancing member, who hides his bandage-covered body and breathes through holes while channeling his combat art through music (Battle Cantabile), an INFP reader is viewed with an almost contemplative yet completely detached curiosity. To him, the reader is like a dissonant and fragile note in a violent symphony. He views her mind — filled with abstract daydreams, existential dilemmas, and excessive sensitivity — as a melancholic and chaotic melody, incapable of keeping up with the rigorous and solemn rhythm he worships.
Dynamics: The coexistence between the two is marked by theatrical silences and an almost mystical communication. Bonolenov is a man of few words, preferring to express his feelings and intentions through metaphors linked to dance, spirits, and the music of his people (the Gyudondondo). When he needs to interact with the INFP, his posture is enigmatic and slightly distant. If the reader is lost in her thoughts or suffering from anxiety in some corner, he won't yell; instead, he might stare at her with his motionless mask for long seconds or emit a muffled sound through the holes of his bandages that sounds almost like a musical sigh, making it clear that her dramas belong to a world that is far too small.
Coexistence: Sharing the same space with Bonolenov brings an almost supernatural atmosphere, much like a dressing room before a Greek tragedy. He spends his time meditating, polishing his tribal armor, or rehearsing ritualistic steps in silence, while the INFP tries to hide in her own little world to escape the intimidating aura he emanates. If the reader tries to get closer or complains about the strangeness of living among assassins, Bonolenov will hardly give her direct attention, but if he does, it will be with an enigmatic phrase about destiny or the inevitability of pain.
