Yeah I’m a senior at the high school. 

Cool. Ready to graduate? 

I’m 19. And no, I don’t have a car.

Well, for starters, something that makes my job a bit more easier.

She bit her lip, thinking about how she was going to answer his question carefully. “Well…when I say I moved out…” She sighed “I was kicked out - not permanently, that was my choice, but yeah…”

CJ furrowed his eyebrows, mouthing a 'whoa' as he listened. "Wow. Tough parents." He stated, more than questioned. "So, where do you live now?" 

Yeah we usually take the bus going and coming. 

You don't drive? How old are you?

Yeah.

Then you're gonna take the bus back? 

*Shrugs* Okay then. 

Yeah. So, how much further do you go?

For not getting along with my sister? It's fine. 

"Well, for starters, I moved out of my parent’s place and I don’t have to worry about them forcing me to come back" She said, tilting her head slightly. "And I don’t smoke….although I think a scratch card would be quite fun. I might go buy one later" She smiled softly. 

"You did? Why would you do that?" He was curious. He nodded. "That's good to know. Good luck with the scratch card, though." 

"I’ll make sure things change" She said, without even thinking about it. "After all, I’m 18 now, I can do whatever I may wish - to some extent" She smiled softly. "I dance. I love to dance - all kinds too"

"Yeah, they do, but most people just don't." He said, making a face. "Sorry, I didn't mean you, of course." The boy nodded. "I suppose that's true. What have you done at eighteen, that you couldn't do at seventeen?" He asked with a smile. "Buy cigars, or those lotto scratchers?" The first thing that came to mind was porn, but he wasn't going to ask the girl if she had bought any. "Nice." 

Yeah really well. 

That's good. I don't really get along with mine.
