This photo of De (with puppy Cheers) is one of my top 50 photos of him.

I posted this a day early in the USA, but it’s already August 6th in other countries, so there you go.

it's been too long since i last drew him

First up, De's childhood homes. (Note: some of these are actual homes/businesses. Absolutely DO NOT harass the occupants/owners.)

De's birth home. 104 Ormond Ave.

1935 Home location. 253 East Lake Dr SE. There’s no home on the current lot.

1936 Home location. 226 Lansdowne Ave. This house looks newer than some of the ones on the street which looked older, 1940s-1950s style.

His birth home and the 1936 house were at the bottom of hills. The 1935 house was on more flat land.

Lastly, De's parents home in 1946-1947 when he became famous. 3215 Roswell Road. This is the address that was in all the papers that I've previously posted. It's now a catering design company, but previously it was a bakery.

His birth home address is from De's birth certificate. The 1935 and 1936 addresses are from the City Directories. And the 1946-1947 are from the Atlanta Journal and Atlanta Constitution newspapers.
