100 years ago a commercially produced 'Northern Ireland historic medal' went on sale in 1921 at Robinson and Cleavers department store, Belfast to commemorate birth of northern Ireland and the opening of the new parliament in Belfast.

Australian artist Henry Clive painted a series called Global Glamour in the 1940’s which was a collection of international beauties in national dress. This one is "Northern Ireland" as featured on the front cover of American Weekly magazine, 1944.

Today, May 3rd, 2021, marks the centenary of the creation of Northern Ireland. Happy Birthday, 100 years.
