Gigabolt let loose the massive bolt of lightning at her foe, unaware of the defense she had been preparing. With how much energy she put into, she was expecting the wall and Lightbug to be gone, and a smile spread across her face. This bitch was gonna pay for cutting her.

The bolt ran through the girl, its been quite a while since she felt electricity harm her and frankly Lightbug could have gone without remembering that sensation. Absorbing some, it was still rough on her and as the wall behind was reduced to rubble, the hero couldn’t handle the pain anymore slamming onto the remenants of the wall already knocked out.

Gigabolt’s smile faded a little as she saw the little hero was still intact. She walked over to look down at her. When Lightbug didn’t move, she gave her a bit of a zap. When there was still no response, the smile quickly returned. “Down for the count huh? Well then.” Gigabolt gathered up the diamonds she came for again and then hoisted up the fallen hero to take her with her.

“Argh, you bitch!” Gigabolt screamed in rage as the glass cut into her. She tried to fire another bolt but the glass blocked and dispersed it around the room. Gigabolt edged away from the hero and began charging another bolt. “You won’t get up from this one you little brat.”

If Lightbug could have heard that, she’d likely agree, but she could tell the woman was charging. Hell the hero could pretty much feel it in the air. Clasping her own hands together, Lightbug took a couple deep breathes, if she could focus enough of her own energy maybe she could absorb enough of the blast. As electricity sparked around her hands, Lightbug knew it wouldn’t be enough, might less of a mark, certainly wouldnt kill her, but she’d be knocked out and at this woman’s mercy. At this realization, only one thought ran through her head. ‘Fuck, shit, cunt, god fucking damn it!’

Gigabolt watched the hero charge her. She wasn’t sure what she could do but wasn’t keen on finding out. Once Lightbug was close, Gigabolt tried to side step her and blast her with a bolt of lightning. Lower voltage than the last. Enough to cause some serious pain and knock her back, but not kill her. Not yet.

As she was knocked back, her own powers made her very aware of exactly how the electricity was moving through her body, and on top of the pain it just made her body feel wrong. It felt completely different than the energy she generated. After she hit the ground, it took Lightbug a second to get back to her feet, she needed some kind of cover or distraction or… 

She slammed her hand against one of the displays, and thank god for her mask hiding the ‘this is gonna suck expression’, as energy arced from her hand along the lights in the display causing them to explode and send glass outward at the hero and villain

Gigabolt looked up at the buzzing noise and rolled her eyes. “And who are you supposed to be? Some little hero? This shouldn’t take long.” She noticed the shopkeep had stopped filling the bag she gave him and she turned a glare to him. “What do you think you’re doing?” She shot out a hand and a massive blast of lightning blew forth and destroyed a chunk of wall. “I said fill. The bag. This hero won’t be saving you.”

Well that explained the pattern on her outfit, Lightbug was now well aware that this woman was on a different voltage level but she had to hope it would all go well. Not sure why she was yelling at the person more, blast like that they might be as deaf as Lightbug herself for a moment. The young hero charged at the woman, getting close enough to take a swing but it was pretty obvious.

Esmerelda got a little nervous being on her own in a place like that when Mia left and gave a slight smile of relief at Mia’s return. Then the smile fell at the glass. “O-Oh that’s a bit more than I expected. I’m um…I really shouldn’t get drunk. maybe a little would be okay though…” She took a cautious sip.

The taste is sweet and fruity, and strong enough to make the alchohol within seem to be much less than it really was. Mia chuckled softly, and gave a shrug. “I guess just stick to one to be sure, but I dont really think it’d be all that bad if you got drunk once. I have literally never seen you like that.”

“Oh this is actually quite good.” It didn’t taste too alcoholic so one glass like this should be fine. Esmerelda drank a bit more and chuckled nervously. “Well I um, haven’t really been drunk much. Mostly just the one time and I am…not a pleasant drunk lets say…”

The Gigabolt strolled into the diamond store, looking around at her soon to be possessions. She wore a flowing blue dress with embroidered lightning bolts and a domino mask under her long blond her.

The diamonds would make excellent foci for her lightning magic.

She approached the counter with lightning crackling over her fingertips. “All of your diamonds. In the bag. Please.”

Lightbug happened to be patrolling at the time when her alert bracelet started to go off, checking it she saw the location of the store, seeing how close it really was. And it wasn’t long before she was there, hidden around a corner she observes the villain. Scanning the store, really wasnt anywhere to hide inside, so the direct approach it was, coming out into the open and entering the store.

“Right no beer…Awfuls a bit harsh, there’s a local brewery thats actually… Good god I have too many hipster friends, anyway, get you something sweet.” And so Mia makes her way over to the bar, noticing on the bar stand a little advertising for something. Soon she returns to Esmerelda and places a rather large glass filled with a liquid that appears to range from a deep red to a bright orange. “Enjoy”

The rocker then sipped from the much simpler mojito she got herself.

“I mean I can ask at the bar, but it’s not really a wine kind of place…” Mia leans toward her girlfriend, the musician so wanting to see her completely let loose “How about something a little more exciting? Something sugary and bright in colour?”

Mia left out the part that she was going to get Esmerelda the giant “Special” size glass of whatever it would be.

Esmerelda’s stoic expression cracked a little with a faint smile as Mia slipped an arm around her and led her in. She was still nervous, but Mia made her feel safer and she didn’t let it show.

“Only when you’re playing I imagine.” She smirked playfully.

“Well of course, I am the greatest,” With a giggle and a wink, the two slide into one of the booths. Mia keeping nice and close to the gorgeous woman beside her. “So let’s start the night off right, have a particular drink in mind?~” @eccentricrpcorner
