Due to some scheduling conflicts, our Quell must be postponed until this coming June. Again, not cancelled - just rescheduled! With three gamemakers who have been working around the clock to ensure the success of these Games, we can promise that this rescheduling will be honored. Circenses will, in fact, continue - just not for another few months!

Those who have already applied will be contacted by ask, once submissions re-open in the Summer, to re-submit.

We hope this will allow more participants than ever before to experience the Games, with the far more ample time many of us will have this Summer.

We are incredibly proud to announce the revival of Circenses, a writing competition based on Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games series. This time, we're celebrating our first-ever Quell, with a completely original and unbelievable new twist. 

For all those previously involved in Circenses: as a courtesy due to CY2's cancellation, tributes who participated, and survived, in Circenses Year Two (as well as a very special guest) have received personal invitations to the reaping, as well as the promise of an exclusive double entry. We have, however, been unable to locate a few of our most promising tributes, following their re-release into Panem. How unfortunate. If you are a Circenses Year Two survivor who did not receive an invitation by ask, contact us.

If you are new to Circenses, welcome to the adventure. By all means, read up on our previous installments, Year One and Year Two, for an idea of how our Games work, and feel free to ask any questions you may have. Keep in mind that the Quell will bring plenty of updated and interesting additions to raise the stakes for our tributes, and that these Games will not exactly mirror years one and two.

We hope to see you this next Friday, February 14th, when the application process for the reaping will officially begin for all who are interested. Until then, tributes future and past, sharpen your skills. Reconnect with old allies. Prepare to impress us.
