Experiment #1-Water kefir in coconut water.
Day 1
9:00am PST
Temperature 46°
Batch is being made using water kiefer starter in 2 x 32 oz bottles of coconut water incubated under heat lamp.
At 70° ambient temperature Kiefer will be ready in 12 to 18 hours.

Temperature 55°
Attempted to create a warmer environment to incubate the batch.
No signs of fermentation.
Update.
After 8 long weeks, my coconut water has turned to Kiefer water. I expected it to take a while on account of the cool weather but not that long. Live and learn I guess.
Of the two bottles, one them to film on the top of the liquid which was possibly a result of contamination. The other bottle was perfect.
If my research is correct each primary ferment can produce seven batches.
Can't wait to try it again.
