I saw this on facebook and feel it is crucial that I share it here.
And, if you have a habit of telling BIPOC the phrases on the left, stop using your spirituality as a cover for your racism.
Nonverbal Witchcraft
For my witches who cannot speak, struggle to speak, or choose to remain quiet.
This post is a compilation of ideas and personal methods from fellow nonverbal witches. Not everything may fit for you, but hopefully it will give you a starting point!
Spells:
Write the words and focus your energy on bringing them into being. You could burn the piece of paper to finish off the spell. One contributor also mentions burying the paper.Ā
Our thoughts are powerful. Focus, and say the words in your mind.
You can also mouth the words without speaking them, if that helps you.
Whispering is also great if that works for you!
Find power in silence, use it as its own tool.
Use instruments to create certain rhythms for different spells, instead of chanting.Ā
If sound is helpful, play music that you feel relates/connects you to the spell.
Cast circles and finalize spells by snapping.
Sigils are concentrated intentionāuse that to your advantage. They can absolutely be a base for spellwork.Ā
Use a power source; the elements (candles, soil, the air around you, a bowl of water, etc.), crystals, burning herbs, etc.
To feel energy without using words to confirm: use tools that have stronger energy that you can physically feel. Ā
Make spell candles, jars or sachets.Ā
Use sign language! Iām of the opinion that everyone should at least learn the basics, and there are plenty of free resources out there!
Specific spells:
Casting a circle:Ā āYou can cast a circle by walking in a circle and visualizing your footsteps imprinting on the earth below, creating a barrier of light (color chosen to correspond to intention at the time), walk the circle 3 times and see the barrier in your mind forming a perfect sphere around your work space, becoming brighter and stronger each step you take.ā*
To banish: write the things you wish to banish on a piece of paper, light them on fire with a black candle and place in a burn bowl.Ā
To release and invite: use two pieces of paper. On one, write down everything youād like to release from your life. On the other, write down everything youād like to invite into your life. Burn the release paper and dispose of the ashes, keep the invite paper. (Optional: I like to do this on the new moon, and have a black candle above the release paper and a white candle above the invite paper).
Protective charm: (click here)
To raise you out of a dark place: (click here)
Spell of destruction: (click here)
Energy work:
Use aĀ cajon, bells, singing bowl, steel tongue drum/moondrum, or other instruments to raise energy!
āI have a specific snapping rhythm that is āmagic timeā. When I snap the rhythm once or three times itās go time and I fall into the zone.ā*
āFor energy work and to raise energy I dance and as my heartbeat gets louder in my ears I mentally chant with it, focusing on a short phrase, intention, or incantation with the energy I physically raised and the meditative repetition of my mind.ā*
Use a power source; the elements, crystals, burning herbs, etc.
Most energy work involves movement, rather than words (click here for energy work with restricted movement).
Other ideas:
Worship: write letters, devote your actions, decorate an altar. Prayers donāt need to be spoken! Or write your prayers and place them on an altar, burn them, or keep them. (Bedridden worship)
Divination doesnāt require spoken word, especially once you have a bond with your tools. You can always use writing, sigils, or your thoughts to channel your intent/question. (Bedridden divination)
Charge crystals with your intent and wear them/carry them in a pouch.Ā
Kitchen witchcraft, garden magic, tea magic, etc. etc.Ā
Utilize the correspondences of the items in your life.Ā

Witch Tips: Spells Gone Bad š£
š¤ Thereās always talk about learning to undo anything that you do in case a spell or curse goes wrong, but what I rarely see is people writing them self a reversal into the spell itās self.
š¤ Something along the lines of āShould the effects of this spell no longer be desired the lighting of this candle, (or crossing out these words, breaking this thing, etc) shall dismantle itā
š¤ You can write all sorts of fail safes into spells, not just for the purpose of stoping them, but also to close loop holes.
š¤ And while you should still learn to do reversals, this provides you with a quick and easy solution to a needed get out of jail free card.
Bird Symbolism
So I was looking out my window and saw two birds and the idea of making a list of symbolism associated with types of birds came to mind. My mom always taught me if you see an animal -especially if they are doing something out of the ordinary- you should take it as an omen. So hereās a list of some basic birds, some of the associations are personal but I hope you like it!
Blue Jay-the truth will be revealed, high energy, playfulness, clarity and communication.
Cardinal-hope, joy, good health, some associate them with angels or deceased love ones, passion and warmth.
Crow-often associated with magic and witches, transformation, power, intelligence and mystery.Ā
Duck-friendships, new friends, happiness, good fortune and protect against negative energiesĀ āwater off a ducks backā :)
Dove-peace, harmony, joy, love, might be telling you to break away from a toxic situation, think positive, often associated with Aphrodite or Jesus or Angels
Eagle-power, leadership, freedom, adventure, breaking free.
Hawk-Ā common as spirit guides, courage, protection, and awareness.Ā
Hummingbird- I adore hummingbirds and often associate them with faeries. Creativity, joy, love and beauty. Can be a sign that you are moving too fast in life and need to take a break.
Magpie-Magpies represent duality because seeing them can be really good or really bad, I know itās confusing :/ Seeing a magpie can be a good luck omen and new oppurtunities will appear. They also represent illusion and trickery, maybe someone is being a two-faced friend to you.Ā
Owl-Ā wisdom, associated with the goddess Athena, intuition, spiritual exploration, change, observation and intelligence.
Raven- associated with the nordic god Odin, mystery, magic, fae magic, knowledge, mischieve, and can be seen as a death omen (but can also mean change)Ā
Robin- luck, prosperity, good things will happen, joy and your hard work will soon be rewarded.Ā
Sparrow- associated with Aphrodite, new love and relationships, fertility, team work, time of productivity and stop procrastinating.
Stork-long life, prosperity, fertility, new life, wisdom, take time to relax, motherhood and luck.
Swan-Ā also associated with Aphrodite and Apollo, gracefulness, beauty, music, poetry, creativity, loyalty, and long lasting relationships.
Vulture-death, cleaning up other peopleās messes, renewal, patient, use your resources and be perceptive.
Woodpecker- hard work, take advantage of new oppurtunities, attention, progress and determination.
Tip! If you are repeatedly seeing a certain animal or have a strong liking to an animal it could be a way a spirit guide is trying to get your attention (or that animal is just really common in your area lol )
Noirbnbā¦.like Airbnb, minus the racism.
Black people inspire me everyday, the world gives us shit and we take it and turn it in to something beautiful.
Yooooooooooooo!!! I will be using! Lit!
Support my bro Stef and Noirbnb. For real. Not even saying that because heās my homie. Thatās a legit business and itās for us!
FYI: They changed the name to Innclusive.
ā¦If this post is gonna continue floating around and people really wanna support them, they should know that most likely they will not find noirbnb but they definitely WILL find Innclusive.
Noirbnb and Innclusive are two companies. Both services are active and easily found.
Reblogging this because a couple years later and people are still confused on this. The company started by my homie in the original story is still Noirbnb. The other company tried to start a similar company and named it Noirebnb. The two sat down and worked things out on the business end. Stef still kept the original Noirbnb name for his company, the other company (Noirebnb) changed their name to Innclusive. Both Black-owned, both accessible, and check both out. But Noirbnb did not change their name, they simply protected their name from being used by another company and had that company change their name.

REBLOG IF YOU SUPPORT TRANS WITCHES.
I saw some posts and accounts that really bummed me out tonight. Some people are so proud to be transphobic and itās disgusting. Iām terrified that I accidentally follow some TERFS without realizing it.
Show trans people some love in the midst of all of this hate that is still going around.

cleansing crystals
full moon: on the night of a full moon, leave your crystals outside to soak up the moonlight, the crystals will still receive the energy even if itās cloudy or raining! (but make sure the crystals can safely be in contact with water!!)

sage/incense: waft the smoke over the crystals, or hold the crystals in the smoke, let the smoke reach every side of the crystal
water: let your crystals soak in a nice cool water bath, or place them under running water, visualise the water cleaning out any negative energy (Calcite, Desert Rose, Halite, Hematite, Lodestone, Malachite, Satin Spar, and Selenite should not be placed in water!!)
earth: bury your crystals in the soil for a few hours and the earth will soak up negative energies (again, be cautious about rain!)

flower petals: bury your crystals in a bowl of flower petals, choose a flower that has extra healing properties to help your crystals
visualisation: hold your crystal in your hand and envision a white light surrounding it, then see a white beam pass through the crystal, taking the negative energy away

Resources for Spirit Work
Please note - though I myself am not a spirit worker, Iāve done enough research and seen enough of other peopleās personal stories to say this: spirit work is not always light and fluffy and happy (obviously it can be, but not all the time). Spirits are not all willing to work with you peacefully - some are even downright rude or aggressive. It can be dangerous, and there are risks of getting involved with other entities not of this world. Make sure you know what you are getting into completely and are well prepared before engaging. Read and practice at your own discretion.
