I haven’t actively used this blog in a while but y’all keep interacting with my posts and I feel like I should again. I read all of your tags and comments and it really means a lot that you all find my words relatable or comforting in some way. So I’m going to try to keep posting on here and transcribing my thoughts into words, throwing them into the void and whatnot. Maybe they’ll be useful, who knows?
A concept: me, 5 years on T, lounging under my messy duvet with my faded top-surgery scars brushing against it. I am covered in tattoos and my house plants are thriving
It breaks my heart seeing all the trans men of color that feel they need to embody the *~soft white Tumblr trans boy~* aesthetic to be accepted as who they are even when they are masculine/sporty/etc. I see y'all and you’re valid and you don’t have to assimilate to the standard of trans representation to be worthy. I promise not all people want to date a *~uwu pastel flower prince~* and the person that will take notice of you will take notice because you’re you. White trans boys are not the default and they are not better than y'all. All of you tmoc are fantastic, deserving, and wonderful men. (Feel free to reblog this to send some love n acceptance to those struggling tmoc out there)
can i get a yeehaw for ongoing gender crisises!!

Having a body is... weird, man.
Hi, kiddos, I’m still alive and floating in this inescapable void we call gender. How are you?
Try not to worry about how you are perceived. If you are authentically you, the right energy at the right time comes.
The national conversation about trans identity and community tends to focus on the newest crop of trans youth. But why don’t we hear about older trans and gender-nonconforming individuals who manage to overcome the at times seemingly impossible odds and survive — and thrive — in America?
Photographer Jess Dugan’s latest project To Survive on This Shore aims to bring attention to those voices. For over five years, Dugan and social worker Vanessa Fabbre have traveled across the United States photographing and interviewing older trans and gender-nonconforming individuals to ensure their stories, largely untold, are finally shared. See more here (x)
Prideful Plant Puns!!!
I’ve been working on these since pride month, and I feel bad they weren’t finished in time but I’m so happy with how they turned out! These basically happened because I called my best friend a lesbean-sprout and she loved it so much I decided to draw the first one, and things kinda,,, escalated.
I really hope you guys love them as much as I do!
They’re all available on my redbubble!!
Please don’t repost/steal!

I'm uncomfortable wearing women's clothes because I feel like people won't take me seriously. I'm uncomfortable wearing men's clothes because I still get misgendered. I can't win tbh.
Even though am pre-top surgery, and have stretch marks and scars I feel relief when look in the mirror. For the first time ever, I could photograph myself without a shirt or binder on. No matter what others might say or think, I am proud of my body and the journey it has been through. I no longer want to hide my body like it’s broken, because it’s not. It is mine and it is beautiful.
Current mood: Gay™ and tired. (He/Him)
For pride month, have my cat on a rainbow kelim 🏳️🌈she loves and supports each member of the LGBT community
be proud of your identity!

Presentation is weird as hell, especially when what you like doesn't necessarily reflect what a man is "supposed" to be. I love makeup. I love dresses and painting my nails and wearing flowery clothes. Growing up, I thought I was a princess. I love pink everything and I was obsessed with dolls. Now that I know that I'm a guy, it's very hard balancing out what I know I like with how I want to be seen. I know that I could go out wearing that dress or with a full face of makeup and that wouldn't make me any less of a guy. But I know how I will be seen, especially by people I've come out to. And it's not even just that. It's the dysphoria that comes with dressing in a what is considered a very "feminine" way. Some days, when the dysphoria isn't completely overwhelming, I'm totally cool with wearing makeup and it actually makes me feel really good. I can go out without a binder and wear a dress and I'm fine. Others, I just want to curl up in a hoodie and not have to look at myself. My face, my chest, my voice- everything about myself makes me uncomfortable. Some days, I'm in between both and I don't feel like being a person at all. My gender itself doesn't fluctuate at all. I feel like a guy, even on days when I'm presenting in a "feminine" way. I just feel so pressured to present in a certain way now that I'm out and it's really suffocating. Nothing I do makes me feel 100% comfortable anymore because the dysphoria is always hanging over my head. I know that I'm never going to be fully comfortable with my appearance until I can go on hormones and bums me out a lot. I know that I'm me regardless of how I'm presenting. I just so desperately want to be seen as I am.
