Just watched the Gameoverse Pilot and I'm calling it now:

Dusk and Warrick were a villain and hero from the same game. When Warrick won their game and destroyed their world, he dedicated his life to tearing down and reshaping the Gameoverse by force. Meanwhile, Dusk decided to ensure that nothing like this would ever happen again by recruiting displaced heroes to help villains save their worlds.

when gameoverse gets greenlit, i hope we get a scene where it's revealed that kaboodle was affected by his world being destroyed but instead chooses to internalize it for kit's sake

from what we've seen, he does genuinely care for her but is more quiet about it. given his personality, it seems like he masks it by his indifference and pessimism

he's meant to be the strong one out of the two and if he breaks, then she'll be devastated and he doesn't want that to happen

#bonus points if he also gets a ptsd flash back

Caine the type of guy to drop hints of his unwellness and when nobody says anything about it, it only encourages his insecurities of everyone hating him, his little hints of vulnerability are a cry for help and when no one brings it up it makes him feel ignored and stupid to think that anyone would care

I rewatched episode 8 again last night and it struck me that even when they’re trying to get on his good side while they’re distracting him, they just insincerely suck up to him. Like what if Ragatha had come up and instead of having a “list of things we love about you as our lord and saviour” she had an apology. I feel like that would have been much more likely to cut through the lashing out and the fact that they didn’t even think to try it just stings

Zooble: *sees that the circus glitches when Caine isn't doing well mentally in Episode 3*

Also Zooble: *doesn't recognize or say shit when they see the same glitching in Episode 8 even tho it's obvious Caine is not doing well mentally*

Also everyone: *can't seem to understand why Caine is upset when they tried to abandon him and possibly end his existence in the previous episode despite all of the hints Abel dropped*

Also also everyone: *holds all the anger towards Caine but holds no anger towards Jax who tried to trap them all in the circus forever*

Also also also everyone: *not okay with trying to talk to Caine or understand him because "he's not human" but are perfectly okay with altering his code without his consent in order to "control him" (that idea came from Pomni by the way...the character who bonded with an AI who was going through similar struggles as Caine)*

Either these peoples' empathy is selective or they're idiots lol

I think its a blend of both but also this is an AI we're talking about

Most of the little hints by most people would be ignored and written off as "it's an AI, they do weird shit"

No one questions an NPC walking into a wall as anything other than a path finding glitch, and the only flashing neon sign of "SOMETHING IS INCREDIBLY WRONG HERE" that I can remember off the top of my head was Caine glitching during the therapy scene

And I honestly think Zooble didn't question Caine about it because they assumed he forgot

#for clarity to everyone #Caine's my favorite character I heavily relate to him in many aspects and I think all of the humans are hypocrites sometimes #but so is Caine #I think everything everyone did in the show was pretty reasonable given the context and thats what makes it a tragedy #no hate to anyone but I think going “everyone sucks here” would really help
