all offense but this “seungri thing” is not a single incident. it’s one of many exposures of misogyny against korean women and the harassment/assault they face; nonetheless, the corrupted system that fails to protect them and even furthers the violence in their lives.

this isn’t just about him, or whether he’s deserving of punishment. regardless of his role, he’s been a willing participant in a system used to terrorize women & neither his job or reputation is worth more than their lives. the severity of this goes way further than an idol leaving the industry for being involved in a scandal. crimes have been committed and people have been assaulted.

stop glossing this over as your oppa being slandered. he’s being investigated because of his involvement, and being cooperative with the police is the very least he can do.
