I want to see the stunt work as Buster Keaton scales the cliff face down towards the wolf-infested woods. I want to see the nuanced, thoughtful portrayal of Sidney Poitier as a black man from late 19th century London with so much pressure on him to succeed in his educated profession that he *must* ignore the red flags around the rich white man who’s hired him, regardless of his peril. I want to see Harold Nicholas tap-dance his way through a jazz rendition of the Dracula story with Cab Calloway as Dracula! I want to see the exuberant nonsense, but somehow still sincere, that would be Danny Kaye’s Dracula movie!!
