โi walked into the store today to pick up some things for my baking video and i come across the valentineโs day aisle and it made me think that we just celebrated christmas yesterday and now weโre already getting ready to celebrate love? also reminds me of how iโm single for another year for valentineโs day. no donโt get me wrong, iโm not bitter about it, iโm just saying that every year iโm always single on this day. iโll be in a relationship but never have a boyfriend or girlfriend to celebrate when valentineโs day approaches. what about you, any plans for valentineโs day?โ
โ i used to work in a grocery store growing up , and weโd get the easter egg deliveries on christmas eve. โ cindy smiles. sheโd never necessarily NEEDED to work , her uncle was always happy to give her cash , but it had always made her feel like a nuisance to rely on him. heโd already done so much for her. โ but thinking about it , valentineโs day isnโt so far away now... i donโt really pay it much attention though. even if i WAS in a relationship , i donโt see the need to verify love through expensive gifts and wishy-washy words on one day of the year. you should show someone you love them every day. โ a sheepish expression crosses her features ,ย โ not to rant or anything... โ truthfully , she DIDNโT see the point of valentineโs day - but her inner hopeless romantic still hoped that one day she would have somebody to act mushy with once february 14th rolled around.
