With much sadness I have to announce the passing of Tea. She was the sweetest and most wonderful rat I have ever cared for and now she has taken her leave to rat heaven to care for all of the rats there.

Not to mention she was a very talented painter and model.

I was planning on announcing this a long while ago but I haven’t been so active. At the end of May I adopted two new rats!

Introducing Luna [Black and White] and Lux [White]

I realise that it’s been a while so here’s an update! All the rats are still doing well! Here is another picture with Tea who is 2 this month (along with Sugar and Crumpet) and shows no signs of slowing down. Cookie has started making paintings and has become very confident compared to when I first adopted her. Her sister Cream is still very timid and usually stays close to me during free roaming.

You may notice that i use the same method shown by Shadowtherat in this video here!

It can be very messy if your rat likes to crawl over you and hold your fingers while they enjoy their treats - like Crumpet.

Crumpet is a very easily distracted rat and it certainly didn’t help that her cagemates were free-roaming as this was filmed!

It’s a slow process and some rats are better at it than others so it’s best to be patient.

I do sell the rat paintings within the UK on etsy, postage fees for abroad are just too much to justify sadly - maybe one day when i’m more confident in navigating postage issues.

Hello everyone! It’s been a while but all the rats are still here and doing good! I’ve spent the past few months busy trying to prepare for my driving test - which I passed yesterday! So now I’m back to post more cute rat paintings from Tea. 🫖 🐀
