the other day i read something and it was a real wake up call, it said something about how this life is the only one we get, this isn’t a free trial that we then get to upgrade, we either heal, achieve our dreams and thrive in THIS lifetime or we are left with the unknown. your life is not a waiting room, where you wait for things to get easier, and for opportunities to align, and for wealth to fall into your lap, your life is now! We are taught so many useless concepts growing up, “it gets better when you’re out of high school”, “it get’s better when you have a job”, “ it’ll feel nicer when you’re in a relationship”, “ xx age is the best age”, newsflash, it doesn’t GET better, you have to MAKE it better, every single day, and you have to do it on purpose, with determination, even on the days you don’t feel so good, or the days you’re feeling lazy, or the days the weather’s not quite right.
We fail ourselves the moment we live our lives in the future, in anticipation of the better, happier, wealthier us that apparently can never exist in the now but only in the mist of our imaginations of a future. the future is NOW. your life is a continuous now, wait for tomorrow to be better and that tomorrow is your new “now”, and that’s how people blink and suddenly, life has already passed them by while they were fantasizing, they wake up at 50 or 70 and think of all the things they could have achieved, and they think of how doable it was all along. the things we wish to accomplish seem daunting when we first look at them as a big chunk, but in reality every dream is only a series of small steps, actions, and thoughts, that are repeated with fervor and faith on a daily basis.
Please, start today, start living now, we are not drawing from an inexhaustible source, our time on earth is limited, everything else is not, your passion, drive, discipline, how much you can grow, how much you can love yourself and others, how much you can serve others and contribute to the world, how much you can achieve and create, how much you can earn and learn, money, knowledge, love, prosperity, wisdom, health, are all available to us, no cap, no maximum or limit to how much we can have, it’s all about how much we’re willing to take, if we just get up and do it.
Wake up and live in the now!
