Invasion of privacy. First off what is invasion of privacy? It is the tort of unjustifiably intruding upon another's right to privacy. Did you know that there is a law for this? It is law allowing an aggrieved party to bring a lawsuit against an individual. Now think about a time you ever looked at a person's phone or through someone's journal without them knowing. Yeah that's against the law. I bet you didn't know that did you. See many people don't understand that these things can get them into serious trouble. You can get up to six months in jail and a fine of $1,000 for first time offenders. Now I know there are those people who will say "you should have never left it unattended". The truth is you should have never gone through it. Think about how you would feel if you had left a bag at your table while you went to the bathroom, and you came back and someone was going through your things. You would be mad right? Now you understand how everyone else feels. Next time you think about invading someone's privacy think about the concicuinces that will come out of it.
