When its just the two of them, Present Mic is a lot more low key. They’re very much friends who bond by just working together in the same space.
No concept of normal behavior. Present Mic will be like “hey I’m going downtown dressed as a clown to sing songs and cheer people up” and Aizawa will be like “that sounds about right pick me up a cat magazine and a pallet of applesauce on your way back”
How they Harrass Midnight: incredibly judgey best friend energy. Midnight is Messy and they are not afraid to tell her this. Every other week they have to steal her phone to keep her from getting drunk and calling her trashy ex boyfriend
Absolutely no concept of normal boundaries. They engage in Platonic Make Out Mondays in the teacher’s lounge and the first time All Might walked in on it he passed out. All the other teachers are Numb to it
They get STD tested together twice a year. They have an embarrassingly thorough presentation on it during the student Sex-Ed class
Several times, gossip magazines have reported that they’re a couple, complete with grainy photos of them together. They keep a scrapbook of these articles that they decorate with stickers and glitter.
Their go to song at karaoke is Love Shack by the B-52s. They did release a music video for their cover of the song and its as tacky as you can possibly imagine. it trigger’s Aizawa’s fight or flight response.
How they harass Aizawa: god how don’t they harass Aizawa? Immense Affection, mostly. They have a competition to see who can get the cutest picture of him (Midnight is winning with a picture of him gently kissing Sushi’s head)
Aizawa is one of the first men she ever met that wasn’t sexually attracted to her. Her brain couldn’t handle this so it short circuited and labeled him as her little brother.
The best sparring partners. Midnight is one of the few people that can keep up with Aizawa in hand to hand combat. She doesn’t usually win but sometimes she can distract him enough to squeeze in a win.
Aizawa is the only person who will drink Midnight’s alcoholic concoctions, but only when he’s at a very specific level of drunk. This is bc he has no standards for what he eats anyway. Present mic has roused them from some Severe hangovers
Dedicated cat parents. If midnight feels like Aizawa has been cutting himself off from his friends she calls him like “hey I think sushi has been struggling because the lack of a strong paternal presence in his life :/“ and Aizawa is over Immediately
How they harass Present Mic: probably the least common form of harassment. Whenever they train/warm up together they are contractually obligated to mock him because he can’t even touch his toes and they’re both off to the side tying themselves into complicated formations while they stretch. Twink (derogatory).
