Selina Campbell is a talented jeweller who has a workshop and show room in Manchester city centre. She is a skilled silversmith and innovative designer, we were so pleased she approached us at We Are Kin Studio to produce her lookbook and shoot her new and current collections. We were able to collaborate on all aspects of the shoot, style and even squeezed in a still life shoot on the day.

Some snaps of the set I made/styled for The Hair Bank, for their 'Avant Garde' entry in The British Hairdressing Awards.
Appoligies for cutting of heads, under instruction to keep the rather fantastical hairstyles top secret.
The client was referecning the wonderful work of Tim Walker as inspiration for the styling, we wanted to create an eeire beauty, special thanks to Anna Collette Hunt for providing the beautiful ceramic creatures.
We shot the boys on the second day, regarding the styling we looked to icons such as Jarvia Cocker with a nod to sub cultures inc. mods, brit pop and mad men. We wanted the men to have an over all attitude, suits and textures inc. tweed, cord, velvet in a colour pallette of oranges, blues, browns and greys, with the most wonderful eyewear supplied from Seen.
I styled a shoot for Claxton this summer for The British Hairdresser Awards. The images have been kept under wraps until after the compition, but I can show you a few snaps taken on the day from my phone.
Day one was the girls, for the shoot we decided to go with cool tones, whites/greys/blues/silvers. We agreed clean lines and modern tailoring for a contemporary Scandinavian look, with accessories to play with on the day.
