I mean I don’t have kids but honestly, I’ll miss my puppy, does that count? 

That totally counts. I’m missing my animals too!

You really are one of those overbearing parents whom keeps track of their kids via their phones, huh?

I mean, yeah. Nathan doesn’t do it, so I have to.

I know how you feel, especially since my wife and I just had our final child together and he is really young. Like, not even a month old yet and needs a lot of attention, and with Lights and I being on this trip to Greece, we’re going to worry about Samuel until we return home. And our on-call babysitter will also be on this trip as well so we can’t ask him to watch the kids and Samuel for us while we’re on this trip.

I couldn’t imagine leaving my newborn so soon. I commend you for that strength, Jared. My kids are all teenagers now so they don’t care that I’m away but I miss them, haha.

I’m definitely missing them a ton, but I’m sure that’ll lesson in a few days. Vacations are meant for relaxation and all that, might as well try to enjoy it as much as you can, right? Did you leave your children with your parents or something? Maybe they can FaceTime you nightly so you can still see and talk to them while you’re away.

I haven’t taken a long vacation away from them in a couple of years. It’ll take me a couple days to get adjusted to being away. They are with their dad, actually. Oh, I already plan on FaceTiming them as much as possible and annoying my teenage son.

Can’t you ever take a week away from your kids without stressing out?  You of all people deserve it.

So with all this travelling, I have quite a bit of music on my phone. Of course there is a few songs on there that just hit me hard and causes a tough guy like me to cry. As much as it does that, I always feel better after letting those emotions out. Better than it all happening in front of thousands of people. Anyway…how is everyones day going?

So I am going back to Broadway for the first full time in many years. I enjoyed my time on Supergirl and other projects but Broadway has always been my home. But I have not had a real show in years. But I can’t wait to fill the shoes of Dr. Pomatter in Waitress.  It’s going to be a blast and I’m excited about it. I also have a few concert dates that I’m excited for too. So I am gonna be a busy boy this year!  I did American Son, last year and still riding that high. So who has something to look forward to this year?

So proud of you, Jer! I can’t wait to come see you in the show! I’m looking forward to a break from Supergirl so I can see my kids but that’s about it.

Are your three going to be at the wedding?

Yes. Anniston and Taelyn are going to be flower girls.
