I have to look at more Queen of the Night costumes.  (Mozart - Die Zauberflöte/ Magic Flute).  But here is something by Erte that I think is in the realm Craig would look at. 

The Emperor.

I always had the feeling that the Emperor is capricious.  Prone to temper tantrums.

So... I put Sharon Marsh as the Empress.  With Chrysanthamums in the background (the traditional ‘mother’ flower) and a pic of Stan and Shelly on the side table.

I love Sharon.  I wish they had more time to give her more character development.  She’s come a long way from just blindly following Sheila in everything. 

(Also, fun fact.  I hate Randy.  Hate in order of The Stotches, Randy.  There.  I’ve said it.)

Wendy and Cartman for the Strength Tarot card.  Inspiration from ‘Breast Cancer Show Ever’ episode.

Here I’m trying to find the most powerful point of the image to deliver the full feeling of Wendy’s strength, both physically and mentally.  

So, a section of panels from a comic skit I’ve had in my head over a year.  Since I got my first ‘grown up’ bike after not having ridden one in about 30 years and that being my primary school bike.  Tweeks experiences are basically my first ride on my bike.

So, this is what came to me on a 3.00 am walk home drunk from a friends house after watching videos and eating takeaway. 

Justice:  either right way up where it means a fair decision will be made, or reversed, which is basically how Sheila behaved and is represented well by her attitude in this whole debacle.

Working towards card 1:  The Magician.  

(Though Cartman is technically a wizard king, he does embody the energy and capriciousness of this card)

Actually, it’s almost done now, some fine tuning and much more polishing to Nellie, Jenny, Lola and  Millie, who are out of shot on the side (well, Nellie isn’t so much here).

Hey all you, if you wanna, you can take some of my old outlines and re-colour them and send them back to me to display.  Digital work, print them out and use traditional media, I don’t care. 

(Secretly, I do want a South Park colouring book..... who of you out there would LOVE one of those??!!).

I might release an original line artwork every month that can inspire colouring.  in anycase. feel free to recolour my artwork.

The Fool, (W.I.P)

This still isn’t finished but I’m feeling down and want to post something to show I’m progressing somewhat.  I’m thinking of moving onto at least the start of the next card because I am overly tired of tiny details at the moment and putting the base down on a new card should help alleviate that.
