How about a fic where Sherlock and John retire in the near future (they had a big payoff and don't need money anymore or something?), so Sherlock can finally let himself go (and he really does and gains a load of weight). Then, a case comes up that only Sherlock can solve, but can he solve it when he can't run around like he used to?

It could be pretty fat, but never close to immobility. My preferences depend on how well they carry the weight more than anything. I’m not quite sure what weight they would be, but probably a little heavier than I've drawn sherlock and John in their fattest drawings.
