Her forehead pressed against his when he pulled away, her hands cupping his cheeks, just wanting to know she was really there. With him. Part of this seemed like a dream to her, or perhaps a wish that would stay ungranted in her last moments. Yet, the way her held her and kept her close reassured her, too, that he was really there. That she was really alive.

“I won’t. I won’t ever leave you like that again. Oh Hux…my Hux…”

Her body pressed against his, her cheeks flushing a soft pink as she kissed him again, this time less chaste. It was clear she wanted the sensation of him in her, she never wanted to leave him again without the gentle touch that she had once thought impossible for him to have.

“Please. Never leave my side. I can’t think of someone as strong and determined as you being brought to your knees by anyone,” he murmured, breath hot against her lips before he allowed his kisses to trail across her lips to her cheek.

“Except me. Only I am allowed to bring you to your knees.” 

Hux’s gloved hands found purchase on the stormtrooper Captain’s shoulders, his lips moving back to the blonde woman’s lips. 

You don’t know how close I was to losing you forever, Phasma. I don’t know what I would have done had I lost you, he thought to himself, his eyes taking in her visage, the flushed cheeks, the damp hair. 

"I don't want you to leave...I want you here, with me."

Her own hands had found their place on his hips, and even though he was smaller than her, he still had the profound effect on her of making her want to submit. No man could make her feel as he did, and not once did she want it to stop.

“So this is how liberty dies?
