Let's start at the beginning, shall we?

HI I HAVEN’T USED THIS BLOG IN LIKE FOUR YEARS, BUT!!

I remember this anon gave me this really helpful advice back when I was starting out with RP in 2014. If they’re still around on Tumblr (after like what, 4 years? Haha), I’d love to know who they are! And just show them how much I’ve improved since then- honestly, this was the most helpful piece of advice and critique I was given and ever since then, I’ve always taken that into account whenever I rp.

Secondly, I just need to get this out of my system. 

Recently, I've felt like...I don't know, just lonely, I guess? It's not even that, more like insecure among my friends? Like an outcast in which everyone else chooses each other and I'm by myself? I know I shouldn't feel like that (because my friends don't do that) but being generally the quiet, more...rational person of a group of friends just does that to me. I feel like I have nothing good to contribute at times because I'm no loud or random or funny.

Recently, I've been feeling like that on here too. It's not anybody's fault. You all have lives outside of Tumblr, either that, or you're focused on something important to you and I encourage it. It's just I've been feeling invisible here recently. Ignored, even.

When I first started RPing on this account, I didn't expect to make any friends here. RPing was supposed to be just a hobby to do on my own with aquiantances. But it's not anymore.

It's a hobby I do with friends now, people that I am genuinely interested in knowing about aside from their characters.

I know they say that RPers will have their slow days, but it just kind of hurts, you know. With some roleplayers, I feel like their RPs with me are just another chore for them. I don't want that.

I don't know if you got that vibe off of me, so I've been wondering sometimes if I just came off as clingy or cold to some people here. If I did, I'm sorry.

Anyways, I guess I just needed to get that off my chest? I'll be taking a break from the site for a while. So...yeah.

I made that word up on the spot

First of all, please IGNORE THAT OTHER POST. I started writing up some ideas on my new blog and then I got suddenly really intimidated- written stories are rare for me (for now) and I don't think Wordpress would appreciate me just spamming the writing tag with just outlines and canons. Plus someone just sent me a really nice message and if I move my stuff to Wordpress, they may not be able to read my writing anymore and I wouldn't have to rip that from them.

I'll do both- post my writing here (on a sideblog) and on Wordpress. :D

I feel so hypocritical now...^^'

Anyways, I'll make a sideblog for any writing that doesn't involve RP. Have a few friends on here, who I really want to tell my ideas to. I'll use my sideblog to do that :D

Because no offense,Tumblr is not a place where original fiction writers are appreciated enough. Plus, at this rate, this blog's gonna go from an RP blog to a writing blog and I don't want that to happen.

So, I'm moving anything that doesn't involve RP to Wordpress. All of my story ideas, new characters, and etc. will be found there. I just made the account and while I'm still trying to figure out how it works, I already like it a lot more.

Since most of the characters in Counting Stars are around Darren’s age, new characters are obviously needed for Part 2. The characters listed below will be some of Mana’s closest friends. (Names are still being decided.)

An intelligent, yet arrogant young man, majoring in chemistry. Prideful and stuffy, yet a decent guy beneath it all. Has a sharp tongue. Likes routine and hates chaos of any kind. Indian. Comes from a family who puts too much pressure on him. Mana’s best guy friend.

A bubbly and sweet woman majoring in engineering. Gullible and easily startled. Very friendly and generous. Loves fashion. Girly and hard-working. Muslim- a practicing Islamic. The most emotional, but the pillar of the group. Mana is protective of her when others tease her for liking both math and fashion.

A flirty, loud philosophy major. Easygoing- always seems to be in a good mood. Jokes around a lot. Carefree and dramatic. Perceptive. Eternally cheerful and friendly. Devoted to his loved ones. A practicing Christian. Asexual.

Brent Tyson, who doesn’t join until late in the story. The one Mana falls in love with.

And another one of Flo’s OCs (who I got permission to use). I won’t say much now, but she is hella rad. Not sure if she’ll join Mana at Sellus College. High School friend of Mana- also the one who suggested to Mana to dye her hair.

I’m kind of proud of these guys to be honest. For one thing, I like to think they’re diverse in many categories. Also, I’ve included another topic I’d usually steer away from- religion.

I wanted to show that practicing different religions shouldn’t stop anyone from becoming friends. And if you really need evidence, well, you can just look at my friends.

Okay, so this is actually becoming a legitimate thing for me. It's a Counting Stars AU, but I may consider writing this story instead of Counting Stars mainly because I feel like the characters here would be more interesting and I LOVE WRITING SIBLING FLUFF.

Anyways, this story would be split into two parts.

The most important relationship would be between the Evans Siblings.

When the World Knocks (Part 1): Covers Darren, Ezekiel, Colette, and Melody Dean's arcs. Darren's the main character here as much of the story focuses on his struggles to keep the last of his family together and his insecurities in his ability to properly raise his sister. The competition for Darren's heart in a romantic sense also is a major part.
