I love that I work remotely and get summer Fridays and get work/life balance and I’m so proud of it
My friendships and learning how to nurture them after covid kept us all inside for so long
My parents for their good health, always being there for Mina and me, and thriving in retirement
Working out and feeling nice and listening to podcasts and dissociating

Things I did in 2022:
Went to Portugal with the love of my life
Took so many trips - Vermont, Newport, Providence (had my first ever surprise birthday thing!), New York, the Berkshires, Boston, Little Compton, Portland, Boothbay, Ipswich, Salem, etc.
Saw the 1975 again! And a bunch of other shows like Soccer Mommy, Alvvays, Beach House, Felice Brothers, and everyone at the Newport Folk Fest
My best friend got married!
I got Taylor Swift tickets lol
I spent a lot of money this year and didn’t move my body as much as I’d liked because I was going through so many life changes, like moving in with my boyfriend, adjusting to new chores and projects, working really hard at my new job, and learning how to raise a dog. I was s t r e s s e d, to say the least, and went into autopilot. I ended up so down that I was scared I’d need medicine again.
2023 is going to be all about coming back to myself, remembering what makes me me, and becoming the best version of her. I think a lot about when I was little and I have no idea what little me thought the future would be. I know I wanted to be a British witch writer, but I don’t have any recollection of any dreams I had of relationships or family stuff. After college, I couldn’t see past the end of my nose and was focused on dating art boys and never thought about my 30s, 40s, or 50s.
Nonetheless, I want to make little me proud and do this all for her. That includes being gentle with myself, being healthy, and staying true to what I like and how I like to live.
