[spoilers up to tot main story 11.2] thinking about jerome adams makes me feel like im experiencing a fever dream. prior to main story 11, i was under the impression that he was immensely unnerving, definitely among the game's Big Bads, would probably experiment on children with a ^_^ expression on his face and whatnot. but now AFTER main story 11 im like.....HUH??? im now wondering if hes a Big Bad or if hes instead a lower level antagonist under the thumb of even Bigger Bads (what with how wilson sorge talked about him in such a controlling manner), im wondering if hes just as much of a puppet as all the matters and issues hes got his fingers in, im wondering even if hes being played just as much as he seems to be playing with the nxx investigation team. but, above all, i am struck by
how hes HONESTLY A HILARIOUS GUY IN THIS CHAPTER. like, hes still VERY unnerving and still has disconcertingly ambiguous motives and actions but also like. man lives in a mid apartment that wouldnt feel out of place in the "bitch, you live like this?" meme. he has encyclopedic knowledge about discount promos and vouchers and will happily ramble about it all to unsuspecting strangers and mc (much to her paranoid and stressed displeasure). he got arrested and then released because he was the one being reverse-robbed (????).
