Never forget what Jesus did for you. Never take lightly what it cost Him. And never assume that if it cost Him His very life, that it won’t also cost you yours.

November 1st, 2015, is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Christian Church.
Take some time today to pray for people all over the world who are persecuted for their faith- some to the point of being imprisoned or tortured.
Supporting the Persecuted Church in Iran
November 1st, 2015. Â The world will be praying. What will you be doing?
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" -Isaiah 6:8
Hello everyone! For my Media Writing class at my university, we have to write about a nonprofit organization. I chose Enkai’s Children, which is an organization in Kenya. Please check out this link to see my new blog and for more information! Any and all feedback is welcome :)
Wanting to Want Him
We go to school. We go to work. We take care of our younger siblings, and play with our pets. We read our books, listen to our music, and play our video games. Most of us probably even go to church. But, at the end of the day, sometimes you can’t help but know that your life isn’t what it should be right now. Maybe you feel empty or broken. Maybe you’re stuck in a routine that is starting to seem quite mundane. Or maybe you’re happy, but something just doesn’t seem right...
You know what’s going on. Most of us know what it feels like when we’re not where we should be in our relationships with God. I’ll have my quiet time with God next week, we promise. I’ll finish my prayers later, we keep telling ourselves. Day after day, we find ourselves falling deeper and deeper into excuses. I don’t like reading, so God understands if I don’t read the Bible, or I just don’t have time for this. Do any of these internal struggles sound familiar?Â
We want to be there. We want to pray without ceasing, or to read God’s word without distractions. But if we’re honest with ourselves, sometimes we really just don’t want God at all. Sometimes we keep calling ourselves a Christian, and maybe we pop into church or say a prayer every now and then because we don’t want to go to hell, but maybe that’s the full extent of our relationship with God. Sometimes we are guilty of only wanting what God offers us, and not wanting God himself. We want to want him, but we’re stuck there- with that feeling that a deeper relationship is unattainable. That feeling is a lie, and keeps us from searching for the maker and lover of our souls.
I’m here to tell you right now that God loves you, and he desperately wants you. He wants you to want him, too. If you don’t want him at all right now, the best thing to do is to tell him about it- because he knows anyway. Never be afraid to be completely vulnerably to God. Ask God to help you want him and to help you love him.
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:13
Pursue him. Never stop learning who he is and how to love him more.

I need some good debate topics for my youth group. Help please
Maybe you could debate topics such as: how far is too far sexually, what is the biggest problem in the world, what makes Christians different from the rest of the world, or why do we worship God. With these questions, remember to relate it back to the Bible! Check in and see what God has to say about it.
Thank you for your question!
If it were always easy for us to love people, Jesus wouldn’t have made it a commandment. Love everyone, all the time.
Daily Bible Verse
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” -Colossians 3:2
If there was no heaven and there was no hell, would you still follow Jesus?
Exactly! Life without Jesus is pointless. It is nothing. Our relationships with God are more than whether we go to heaven or not, it’s about who we follow and how we live while we are here. It’s interesting to note that Jews in the Old Testament did not believe in heaven or hell, yet they followed God anyway. What amazing faith! Never quit searching for his heart. Never quit learning who he is.
Thank you so much for your reply!
A quote from the allegorical book, “Hinds’ Feet On High Places” very beautifully explains the yearning of the Christian heart: "Right down in the depths of her own heart she really had but one passionate desire, not for the things which the Shepherd had promised, but for the Shepherd himself."Â
Regarding the Heart
I recently spoke with an anon about trusting God and not getting caught up in whether we “feel” anything in our relationships with God. Since then, I came across this quote from a friend, “Trust not your heart, but rather, the one who made your heart.”

Daily Bible Verse
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” -Galatians 3:28
“We’re on the edge of our seats saying it’s too late... Well let me introduce you to amazing grace. No matter the bumps, No matter the bruises, No matter the scars, Still the truth is: The cross has made you flawless. No matter the hurt, Or how deep the wound is, No matter the pain, Still the truth is: The cross has made you flawless.”
If there was no heaven and there was no hell, would you still follow Jesus?
When you talk about Jesus, do it with demonstrations of love and peace and patience. Don’t just talk about Him intellectually. Show people who He is and what He has done.Â
Will always reblog this. Apologetics is a fantastic field but Christ crucified is, and forever be, the answer
Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable to God. Tell Him about all of the areas of your life, even the ones you wish you could forget, because I promise you that he knows anyway. Humble yourself before the Lord. Pray on your face, and give it all to Jesus.

"I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning to sail my ship. - Louisa May Alcott. No matter the storms in your life, remember that you will safely make it through them. Every struggle is like a lesson. It teaches you about yourself and strengthens you to make it through any struggle. Don't focus on the hardship but try and steer towards the joy. I know it can be hard, but think of hard for you've come. Your strength in inspiring. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you!
God definitely uses our struggles to reveal to us more about him! Â Thank you so much for your message!
Hello! I felt the need to share my testimony. Basically I grew up a believer. I was raised in the church. I got older &I started doubting God's existence. I started having thoughts of suicide. I felt I had no purpose. I was doing the things I was taught not to do. I had hit rock bottom. But God had mercy on me. He saved me from the darkness I was in. He became the light I so desperately needed. He gave me the love I craved. I don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for God.
That is a powerful testimony- thank you for sharing!
