Christ and you.

The Lord loves you with an everlasting love.

In our world, where hundreds of things distract us from God, we have to intentionally and consistently remind ourselves of Him.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

The one thing we need is what Jesus recognized in Mary: a willingness to sit down amidst the chaos and listen to His voice.

So much of Christianity in today’s world is about feeling good without much regard to obedience to Christ.

So God throws open the door of this world—and enters as a baby. As the most vulnerable imaginable. Because He wants unimaginable intimacy with you. What religion ever had a god that wanted such intimacy with us that He came with such vulnerability to us? What God ever came so tender we could touch Him? So fragile that we could break Him? So vulnerable that His bare, beating heart could be hurt? Only the One who loves you to death.

He takes the worst of sinners and says, “I love you, and I will make you new.

You did not earn God’s love, you were born into it.

We are part of something bigger than any individual. Much bigger than any band, person or anything. We are part of something that will change the world and is called “The church of Jesus Christ”.
