like even if you ignore all the larger issues with riverdale like his racism and the continuity issues and follow through on storylines, the pretty little liars reboot was so lifelessly and rushed to me, with pretty terrible ships and friendships except like one. riverdale has actually been his only show i've enjoyed and even that was just because he managed to make some characters i really connected with and some dynamics i enjoyed moreso because of the story, and he failed to do with any of his other shows.

i expect him to invest in the archie comic characters that were in afterlife that weren't in riverdale as a way to differentiate the two. it's entirely possible disney will fight him on that and want him to include elements of riverdale that fans loved to try to get that audience, but it makes just as much sense to do the opposite to get a larger audience that didn't like riverdale.

they can keep replying all they want but i don’t get notifications from people i don’t follow and i have a strict rule against manually checking replies the next day so they can cry about their right to multiship all they want, i will not be seeing it. the only time i’ve ever even seen their tweets is when i’m searching choni or their names separately to see if there’s anything i can retweet for archiveschoni and they’re tweeting about how choni fans are gonna jump them for their shipping like anyone truly gives a fuck 😭 i think their ship is sauceless and might tweet about it every few months like i always have but idc if they ship it if they’re not mentioning toni lmao i might have at some point in my life but not anymore

lmao true, though with bugvarchies you guys always had to deal with pushback so surely you’re a little used to it? though tbh i definitely expected time to be kinder to them instead of the other way around, but to be fair, the current audience getting into the show isn’t the audience i had in mind when i predicted that. so stay strong, if the teen drama lovers eventually give in, i still think they’ll be on your side. reinforcements will get there for you eventually, im sure.
