‘Warmth Seeker’

Fact: Climate change is causing a refugee crisis.

Nearly 22 million people have been forcibly displaced since 2008 due to climate changed-related weather hazards.

Amidst the controversy, I find that there is this bittersweet irony as to how we, the public, view refugees in our society. On the one hand, many are very accepting of refugees in a community and in another, many shun them.

Here is my Fan art for Kenshi Yonezu’s (HACHI) song ‘Sand Planet/DUNE’ right off of his new album ‘BOOTLEG’.

Needless to say, I am a big fan of his tremendous talent! 👏

I had lots of fun drawing this! Especially the ‘Miku’ at the front who I named ‘Kako’, short for ‘Kakoii’ which means ‘cool’ in Japanese. Of course...it was because she’s looks too cool! 😁
