I really want to make this a thing too, however I'm unsure if

I should make it another category (this way I feel like people might be more inclined to do this, but I feel like this might up the amount of submissions and I really do wanna avoid ending up with a lot of entries, to avoid overwhelming people)

2. Or just have it count for the category they belong to, so if you submit a fic by someone else, you can't submit a fic of your own anymore (I feel like if I do this people are definitely less likely to submit other people's work)

3. Everyone can only submit one work by themselves and one work by someone else each month. I'd still keep the two categories, so for example the fic you submit is your own and you also submit a moodboard by someone else. (Idk if this is needlessly confusing but it does feel like it might take away the idea that the two categories are unfair towards people who create lots of different art?)

The difference between 2 and 3 is that in case of 2 you can submit only your own work each month. While for 3 you can only submit your own work for one category, if you don't submit someone else's work you can still only submit one thing for yourself.

Under the cut I'll write down all the plans I have for now, but once again I'm open for feedback, especially because this is my first time doing something like this haha 😭.

Everyone can submit one fic and/or one misc. work (think of art, collages, playlists, edits, answers to ask games, info posts, literally anything). My reasoning for this is that for the last event most people submitted fics and I'd like to encourage other stuff too + I think this is also nice for people who don't have much time to read

If someone has a non-fic creation that has close-to-fic-length (like say a long headcanon writing, or a meta/analysis/essay type writing), would that count for the fic category due to its reading length, or non-fic category due to not being a fic?

Furthermore, how might the rule apply to participants who create in only one kind of medium and thus might only be able to have one submission? Eg. Someone who only writes fic, or only makes art, or only makes moodboards, etc. Or only non-fic?

Also do you guys think there should be a cap on how long submitted fics can be? I do worry that especially long works might be skipped.

I’m not fully sure on that yet, but I do think for multi-chapter fics that get submitted, there could be a clarification that maybe only one chapter (either the first chapter or whichever chapter needs to be read next) needs to be read in order for it to count (as opposed to reading the entire work for it to count). If that makes sense.

If I had to check in with someone and they said they were still planning to participate, yet haven't done so by the end of the month, they won't be eligible for the next events. If someone wants to be able to join again, they'll have to participate one month by interacting with works but not submitting their own works. Does this make sense?

Yes, and I think it’s a good way to handle those sort of participants.

People don't have to submit two works so in that case they'd just submit only for one category. Like my reasoning is that for the event in May most people, even those who do create different types of art, submitted 3 fics so th event just was very fic-heavy.

i think one of the most....notable parts of these early choices from mc is how the options often swing between being either a) annoying and self absorbed or b) so self blaming that it leans into self deprecation. here im thinking of the instances with jackie helping mc to save annie and when mc presents annie's diagnosis to ethan (pictured below). what option did you tend towards? what do you think your choice says about your mc? even though the dialogue choices may not be accurate, is there a reason you leaned towards one versus the other?

more of a fun one but whose introduction was your favorite? either for your own sake or in relation to your mc! (i'm partial to sienna but tell me your thoughts!!)

and lastly (i'm trying to keep this first one light :3) what moments did you find interesting or changed the way you want to proceed with your mc? did you pick any choices you didnt before?

Welcome to Choices MC Appreciation Week 2026

The way her eyes closed, her smile widened, her furrowed eyebrows as she brought a hand up to her mouth to compose herself...

Angel didn't know Luciano could laugh like that. She thought she'd heard the most of Luciano's glee and delight up until now, and in this moment Angel found herself wanting to hear this specific laugh more often.
