here's a piece i drew about preparation for lunar new year in vietnam! of course there are more activities but these are what i miss the most as i have been spending the holiday by myself for 3 years in a row

the 3 characters are actually just 3 sisters always vibing together! they are inspired by the popular tree squad used for house decoration during lunar new year/tết in vietnam! i had lots of fun naming them!^^ 

Đào/Dao as the big sis - inspired by the peach blossom tree

Mai as the second child - inspired by the apricot blossom tree

Quất/Quat as the youngest - inspired by the kumquat tree

(her real name is Cát Tường which means Luck as no one is naming their child Quất haha so Quất is just a nickname ^^ )
