I love the random snake plushie in both of the games' backgrounds!

They're probably just a fun little Easter egg but I like to think that Alchemist gave Kim the snake plushie before he left for the academy and when Kim cleans and decorates Ragnar's lair, he puts the plushie there 🥹

Yusuke looked proudly at the small goldfish swimming in the bag he was holding, a prize for winning a festival game. “This is now our child,” he proclaimed to a confused Ryuji. 

“Uh sure? I guess we should give it a name.” Ryuji scratched his chin.

Heist

“Hell yeah, treasure!” Ryuji shouted.

Yusuke shared the same expression of joy, marvelling at the shiny contents inside the chest. “We’ll be able to fill our stomachs with multiple beef bowls if we sell this.”

“You read my mind, man!” 

While the two of them were getting excited and making plans after this Mementos trip, the other Phantom Thieves watched them.

“Can you guys be a little more ambitious?” Ann asked. 

“...I think it’d be better if Yusuke starts saving up money,” Makoto added.

Heat Wave

It was a hot day with a heat wave passing through. Ryuji was sprawled out on the floor of his bedroom. “Man, it’s too hot to do anything,” he complained. 

Yusuke crouched down next to him. “Would you like to hold hands?” he asked suddenly. 

Ryuji didn’t even bother to get up. He turned his head toward Yusuke. “Uh dude, no. It’s wayyy too hot and my hands are super sweaty.” 

Yusuke frowned, putting a hand to his head. “To think the gods would be so cruel to cast this wretched heat and separate lovers from even physical contact…” 

Kim: What's it called when you're so disconnected from reality that cold water doesn't feel like anything and you can barely taste food anymore
