I loved getting to have so many characters interacting with the cult AND quite a few opportunities to go a little extra ham on posing out Esther and Abaddon shenanigans.

I also got the opportunity to board the scene between Esther and Abaddon under the sink. I already loved the show by this point, but this episode and this scene really nailed what I appreciated so much about the scripts. The heart was there without making these weirdos act in a way that felt out of character. Esther trying to get Abaddon to stay by manipulating his feelings, and Abaddon being completely oblivious to how she feels, is super funny but its still like! Damn! I want things to work out for this bizzare family!

I only got to do one pass on this scene since it's much smaller and everyone went all hands on deck for the cult scenes, but I was very happy to see so much of it stayed in tact from my roughs. (huge shout out to revisionist Basil Ezenwa for taking this scene over the finish line. and for the art team for keeping the rat <3)

Lot 439. Defaced and Signed School Dictionary

A school dictionary owned, defaced, and signed by Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher. A teacher originally picked this dictionary out of a skip at Barlow R.C. High School, where Liam attended in the 1980s when it was previously known as St. Mark's.

"Liam Gallagher 8715B" is handwritten on the first page of the dictionary in blue ink. "Piss of" and "Dear Dickhead" are handwritten on separate note pages in the back of the dictionary in pencil and green ink, respectively. "Liam waz ere 98" was later signed on another note page in orange marker. The lot is accompanied by a letter from the dictionary's original acquirer, a former teacher at Gallagher's school, explaining how they discovered it.
