Abe Sapien, the Bureau’s second recruit, an amphibius mer-man who was once a human named Langdon Caul. Abe’s one of the B.P.R.D.’s best field agents, and a trusted friend to many of the other operatives.
Dr. Kate Corrigan, an expert in folklore and the occult left academia to become a consultant for the B.P.R.D. and wound up becoming an invaluable resource thanks to her keen mind and voluminous knowledge.
Liz Sherman, traumatized as a young girl after her pyrothecnic powers manifested killing her parents and other bystanders, joined the B.P.R.D. to learn how to control her powers and became a field agent in the process.

Director Tom Manning, though he is most seen as bureaucratic stuffed shirt, he passionately pursues the Bureau’s goals of protecting mankind from the paranormal, and has grudgingly come to accept the need of his superhuman agents.
