Ok this isn't FR related but... Pokémon Go was announced today and at first I was in extreme denial because the LAST time this was announced it turned out to be an April Fool's Day Joke. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice you WON'T cus I refuse to suffer heartbreak such as that EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE. But. It's real. It's a really real thing where you catch Pokémon in the really real world and this is the closest I'll ever get to getting really real live Pokémon so /literally/ sign me the fuck up immediately. idgaf if this comes off as a sjw thing, but speaking as a korean american and using this as an example, why i get wary if i see someone who is not korean making a bunch of their dragons korean:
in a bigger context, let’s look at the whole kwave that’s sweeping over the western hemisphere, with kmusic, kdramas, kfood and culture, etc. then look at what results from it - so many books that center around one character specifically being korean and falling in love w/ someone white (and of course they have to mention that that one person is korean while saying nothing about the other’s race in the summary, and in another book, kpop idols with american names falling in love w/ country stars). so many non koreans people claiming that they wanna only date korean guys or that korean food is the best or that their “oppa” is so cute or just damn fetishizing kculture in general.
that’s why i get seriously automatically wary when i see someone creating korean dragon ics for their lair, but for some reason it doesn’t connect back to korean culture at all?? the art that they drew of it looks white af???? literally nothing korean besides that you wrote “korean” as their race??????? that’s what i’m so ugh about
yes i want diversity but i do not want some non korean person creating characters that have literally no connection to korean culture (especially with the art jfc and don’t just fucking tell me that’s your style cause trust me that is not a legitimate reason (also an artist here) with your upturned noses and huge eyelids and narrow faces and pointy ass noses) and just cause you think you’re being such a good person

The latest color reveals in our color wheel expansion project. In the future, dragons will be able to be bred for even more variety in color!

1. you see a gorgeous dragon up for cheap and ask the user selling them to hold the dragon for you
2. they agree politely, and then take them off the auction house
3. they send you a CR for the dragon so when you’re ready you can accept
the only problem: the CR requires approximately 30kt more to accept than it did before on the auction house
oh well
It may have been a mistake. I've done this before, forgetting how much I listed a dragon for originally, and my buyer corrected me (rightfully!).
