I’ve been thinking a lot about werewolves and dreams.

A common trope is that a werewolf will wake up after returning to human form and only remember things in half-formed, dreamlike sequences. So what if the change was literally a kind of metamorphosis sleep walk. They all dream of being this wolf-like thing but depending on the individual’s knowledge of wolves/dogs, how their brain works in general, and how hard what is actually going on gets shoved through the dream filter, they turn into different ethereal were-beasts. That means that no two werewolves would look the same.

Imagine what nightmares would do.
