Hello everyone, as the title suggestsβ¦ Iβve made a new tumblr due to personal reasons. I will no longer be active on this account. One of the reasons being rude anonymous messages as of late. I wonβt go into detail on the topic.
This account has been active since 2013, what a journey itβs been. I remember joining the original pagan/witchy community way back when tumblr still had its magic spark, a community I felt safe and happy in. As years flew by some people left, some stayed. We all changed in our own way.
I admit, developing the identity of βbeckoningforestβ on social platformβs has been very liberating and exciting. I feel like that identity will continue to be apart of me forever, as odd as it sounds. I never expected this blog to become so successful, with over 40k followers. My blog was inspired by an old friend, without her help and skill with graphic design this wouldnβt have been possible. I owe it to her.
Usually blogs with such high follower counts are immortalized, worshipped with fan art, share their day to day lives like they are someβ¦ Character. I never felt this way, I still donβt despite the big numbers.
However, what mattered to me was you. All of you. Even if I didnβt engage with the public often, post original artworks and earned an image like many of my mutuals did, this was a very real experience to me. I wanted to thank you all for making me feel important enough, good enough to almost be an icon.
Thank you my mutuals, my followers, my friends. I have learned so much from all of you. During dark nights you were there to listen, Iβve made great friendships here I wonβt forget.
