You are my anchor who kept me still

While the raging storms are ready to kill

You gave me the strength to face

The neverending pains in every phase

Seasons changed, you are too

The melancholia of fall

Oddly distant, waiting for snow

A goodbye to our summer days

I wait for the day when things get better

When the sound of the waves is less louder

I wish for the chaos that surrounds us

Finally get tired and let spring happen

I will long for the day when we no longer meet

In dusty dirt roads with no end, just detours

I will wait for that time when we are both at peace,

Watching the sun rise, a sign of a beginning

Your face gave me hope that I will never be alone

I kept on holding the line despite the big waves

It almost drowned me, gasping for air

Yet I see you on the other side, us beaming with pride

For all the challenges we conquered

And for those who are yet to come

As I embark a new journey without you
