i don't care if people hate me, unfollow me, block me, whatever. im going to say it anyway because the way RM and j-hope are being treated is fucking ridiculous. be disappointed, criticize their decision, call it a bad choice, whatever. but calling them abusers, making accusations, harassing them, and sending death threats is way beyond criticism. they attended a concert. thats it. that does not suddenly make them bad people or responsible for someone else's actions. they are artists who can appreciate another artists music without becoming involved in or endorsing that persons actions. you weren't there, you don't know their intentions, so stop treating assumptions like facts. and honestly, its fucking insane that RM and j-hope are being treated like they personally committed the abuse, while the person who actually committed those acts isn't even getting the hate and outrage he deserve. and honestly, i don't understand why some people care so fucking much about what artists do in their private lives. you are a fan because you like their music and what they create, not because you own them or get to control who they meet, where they go, or what they do. RM and j-hope are adults. they can make their own choices without asking the fandom for permission. they do NOT owe you an apology just because you're offended. they are not your friends or family, and supporting BTS does not give you ownership over them. and the double standard is embarrassing. if interacting with a controversial person automatically makes someone guilty by association, keep that same standard for every celebrity instead of only applying it to BTS. i know for a fact some people are taking advantage of this situation to turn people against RM and j-hope and push their own narratives. calling them abusers, harassing them, and sending death threats is not accountability. its fucking disgusting, and it has gone way too far. if what i said bothers you, feel free to block me.
