today is birdie day :))

it's not my birthday, but it is the day I decided I wanted to live. And it hasn't been perfect, I won't lie and say that there haven't been hard moments, but I think I can look back on the anniversary of me choosing myself and genuinely see that I am making progress overall with my mental health.

I still want to live. I want to dream and be part of community and grow and learn more. I'm learning to have compassion for myself. if you're looking for a reason to be here, let this be it.
